Always amazing! We have been going to Yomama since 2009. Some of the best quality sushi/sashimi around! And you definitely can't beat the service. The wife/husband combo that run the restaurant are the sweetest and so fun! If you are a sushi lover, it's a must try!
Amgen employees. Please avoid this restaurant. Restaurant is racist. I do not wish to use the word racist but I have no other word to describe how we were treated. The waitress snapped at us to sit down. She went out of her way to let us know we were not welcomed. She helps new incoming customers before us. We got up and left. I can’t remember the last time I was treated less than human. No one deserves to be treated the way we were.
Ive been to a lot of sushi places and some are great while some are flops. This one was amazing. Ordered 4 rolls with my dad, each one was better than the last, and at an extremely reasonable price. Its nice and quiet at 8pm since closing is at 9, so it makes for a nice calm dinner. Hands off to Chef Choy especially!
Best sashimi / sushi ever. Rolls in a class of their own
We recently dined at Yomama Sushi in Camarillo and were disappointed with our experience. While our server was excellent—prompt, friendly, and professional—the rest of the visit fell short.
A 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill for our party of six, but this was not disclosed to us or listed on the menu or any signage. It wend unnoticed until after they charged our card, resulting in an unintended 40% tip. Additionally, a special roll we ordered was incorrect due to a discrepancy between the menu and sushi list. When we pointed this out, the management was unhelpful and dismissive, making the situation uncomfortable.
Overall, the sushi was average, and the service beyond our server’s efforts was lacking. We won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it over other local options.
First and last time we visit. The female owner is very rude. They don't accurately post their charges and then try to charge more, which is false advertising. After arguing she took our order and failed to put my husband's order in. After waiting for 40 min and watching everyone who arrived after us get their food we asked if my husband's food was being held because she was mad. After arguing with her husband, the chef, the wife came and asked who took our order, which she knew she did. She said that my husband never ordered and there was no order put on for him. We left.
This has to be the best sushi place in Camarillo. Every time I go there, the service and food are amazing. They welcome you there like you're family too. It's a great place for all your sushi needs.
These are the most creative and flavorful rolls I have ever eaten. I might choose a different spot for sushi, but these rolls are hands down the best.

Fun NameThis place makes horrible service seem good. Hate to say it as I normally only do positive reviews but this lady really needs to retire. She is focused on anti-customer service. As for the food, average would be a good review - if you like rolls go-ahead but don’t expect anything above average. The Wasabi looked like something a rabbit deposited. (pict) We will NEVER return.

Terrible service. Ordered take out that took 15 minutes longer than what they said. Then finally bring my food (which was ordered from their website) and asked for a side of spicy mayo since it wasn't on their website. They tried to charge me $.50 for the spicy mayo meaning I was going to have to put it on my card. Really?! You couldn't spare a side of spicy mayo for my wait?

Sushi is pretty good they just use a ton of sauces on almost every roll. Just smothered in sauce. Sometimes, that's a good thing. Sometimes, you just want to taste the fish... overall everyone was very happy. The service was great.

I had the chicken teriyaki lunch special for around $14. It included miso soup, a small of amount of rather lackless teriyaki chicken, iceberg lettuce salad with dressing, sticky rice and tempura vegetables some of which I don’t usually see in tempura like green pepper and onion.
