We had an enjoyable private family event with 16 people before our daughter’s wedding. It was a lovely casual evening on the outside patio. We had appetizers while standing and able to mingle and then sat down and ordered. Food was all excellent, accommodated multiple palates and service was great. Was the low key evening with great food we needed before a busy weekend.
The published hours on Google are incorrect. We arrived at 2:45 and were denied service, being told the restaurant didn’t open until 5:00

Its a great restaurant that seems to have been around for a long time. They let you sit on the patio with your dog. Our server was spectacular! Very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is very old and kitschy but that's not really a bad thing.

Ordered shrimp scampi with pasta and it was watery. Pasta was hard.. restaurant needs new decor and new tablecloths..
Enjoyed a very pleasant lunch here while staying in Cambria. A treat to have clam chowder coming from the UK as we don’t really get it here. Food and service good and would definitely return. Also nice to sit in inside.
We came here for lunch on our way back from visiting Hearst castle and I am so glad we did! Perfect beach spot with friendly and prompt service, and a great selection of food and beverages. I got the catch of the day which was Mahi Mahi and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned, along with my salad and their house herb garlic dressing. My husband got the chowder bread bowl which was also amazing (yes I had a few tastes) and even our beers were good! The next time we are nearby we will definitely be back.

Location is easy to find on Main St. Parking on street or in the back. Handicap access. Customer service was friendly and helpful. Our take out order took 10 minutes. Vontsiners were sturdy. Plastic ware and napkins werd provided. I ordered the portabella mushroom sandwich. It was delicious with sliced tomato, pickle and caramalized onions in whole wheat bun. The cup of chowder was okay. It had more fillers than clam. Hubby ordered the fried fish, calamari, shrimp and chips. He liked it a lot. Prices were moderate. Certain items are per market price.
Food was not great. They over cook my steak. The only good thing that was going for them was the service.
I mean you can’t beat the view but the food did a damn good job of trying! Their wine list is all local choices. Highly recommend the chowder and seafood pasta!
Our server Anthony was so knowledgeable of the menu and helped us choose amazing options. My wife had the chicken picatta with rice pilaf and I had the seafood pasta and both were out of this world. This place is an absolute diamond in the rough, and our meals would've cost double at other restaurants in town. If I could give 6 stars I would. an 11/10 experience!
Great little place with wonderful food and service. We enjoyed everything we ordered!
