I had halibut and chips. Halibut is in season (it's July) it was very good.
Really loved this spot. It wasn’t easy finding a dog-friendly place to eat later in the evening, but they welcomed us right into the main dining room without hesitation. 🧡 Food and drinks were top-notch, and the service was genuinely warm and impressively fast. The local vibe was strong—in the best way—and Patty went out of her way with dog treats, which earned instant points with our four-legged critic. We’ll definitely be back soon. Thanks again!
Ordered a regular burger and the Cajun pasta. Definitely a reason the Cajun pasta is a fan favorite. It saucy with lots of flavor. It comes with shrimp and sausage and delicious garlic bread.
Service could improve. Atmosphere was chill.
It is a small place in Cambria ca. We went in and immediately felt welcome. The people were great and the food was just as good. I know for sure when we go back we are going to eat there again.
What happened?
New owners? Staff? It was a WED night and they were busy and only one person serving. She tried but man a room full of people and the wait time was too long.
The food: I had the clam chowder in the bread bowl. The bread was soft, and not baked. The last time I had it, the bread was crispy and buttered, and it tasted amazing. This time it was not so good. The clam chowder itself was average and OK.
She had the fish and chips. The fish was overcooked and super salty and the fries were old and not as tasty.
We were both really disappointed because the last time we were here this place was amazing. The service was on the spot. Not sure what happened and if they are new owners, but it definitely shows.
Food was great, our services was excellent. A Big thank you to everyone that works there.
Average food, small portions, big prices.
Halibut and chips, one beer - $28. Plus tax - $30 for 1 person and barely some food.
They only serve bottled water (the only place in US). They asked me if I want change from $40.
Poor experience
Good atmosphere, the waitresses are nice, however I got food poisoned here from the clam chowder…
Delicious and perfect atmosphere for casual people like us! The Ruben was awesome!
Local place but everyone staff and patrons made me feel local. Great hospitality. Great food. Great drinks. Everyone was professional, kind, pleasant to be there.

Good friends. Very nice ladies behind the bar. The bottled beer is a deep cold. Cheyanne is humorous

One of our favorite places when we are visiting the family in Cambria. This is how you imagine a typical American bar. The service is very friendly and fast, the food and drinks (Margaritas) are very good and the ambience too. A must, every time we are in the USA.

My girlfriend Amber and I had an exceptionally pleasant dinner here at West End Bar & Grill. We were visiting from Phoenix and were warmly greeted by our server, Patty. She was kind, attentive and helpful with the menu and recommendations for traveling locally. This was our first stop after a 9.5 hour drive and we immediately felt at ease in with the cozy atmosphere and warm, friendly staff. I would highly recommend for a 5 star causal dining experience.

After waiting 20 mins we were completely ignored. The server never took our order. I hope that the fact we were a black family wasn’t reason for this. This happened last night 10-4-24 So disappointing
