Hands-down, the best Mexican food in El Dorado County I would put this food up to any other Mexican food in the state of California. This place is the best I would eat here every day if I didn’t retire and move back to Oregon. The Homies is a legit with this food

Based on the reviews, Taquería Tepa Burritos is a small, family-owned and run restaurant where customers feel at home. The food is consistently delicious and authentic, with excellent homemade salsa and red mole sauce. Popular menu items include the burrito al pastor, super chicken tacos, crispy chicken tacos, Enchiladas, Burritos Supreme, and carne asada and pastor super burritos. The restaurant uses quality white meat chicken and great quality beef. Prices are very reasonable, and the meals are not skimpy. The staff and owners are very friendly, and all food is prepared in full view and ready very quickly. There is not much inside seating with a few tables indoors and two tables outdoors, but customers usually get takeout. The restaurant caters to local Latino workers and is very busy at lunch time during the week. All orders can be customized for dietary restrictions and are kid-friendly. The only complaint is the restaurant is now closed on Saturday and Sunday.
