Food was excellent. Server was pushy on the specials which made one of my guests change his order even though he didn't want to. Also they hovered very fast to grab any empty plate. Just let the guest have a little breathing room your food is great.
Another fantastic time! Greeted upon entering and went to the bar to wait for test of party. Started with a Prosecco cocktail which was made quickly and very refreshing. For dinner, We sat outside next to a heat lamp. Ordered more Prosecco to start while we looked over menus. Decided to split the Butter lettuce salad and each ordered a pasta. Salad was brought out on 2 plates, so nice! Very delicious. I had my favorite, Cacio e Pepe, and my niece had lobster ravioli. Both were perfect portions and delicious. Even tho we sat outside, the server wheeled the cheese wheel out for my dish! We shared 2 desserts, the panna cotta and the brownie both were amazing.
This was our second visit to Locanda Sorrento and most likely our last. To begin with we were celebrating my husband's 80th birthday and they seated us at a table crammed into the corner facing the serving area. We had to pull our chairs in so that the waiters could get their cart by to get into the back dining room. The food was also disappointing. The chicken in the marsala sauce was dry and the sauce lacked much of any flavor. Even the pesto sauce on the accompanying vegetables was bland. The sauce on the eggplant parmesan was overly salty without much other flavor. The caesar salad was ok, with lots of anchovies but the dressing was a bit sweet. The server started out attentive and then pretty much ignored us for quite a while when we were finished with our dinners.
Excellent food. Friendly service. Can't help feeling rushed out of the restaurant. Entree came before appetizer was finished and dessert menu was on the table before the entree was cleared. We will probably be back with instructions to delay courses.
Very popular and crowded restaurant but well worth it. Food and service was amazing! I had the table side pasta in the cheese wheel and it was perfection. Highly recommend for romantic date night
Always good food and service! A hidden gem. We have never had a bad meal. We love the pizza Danielle. The branzino is a winner!
The food, decor, and service were all absolutely first-class. The appetiser of the day was a burratta and prosciutto salad which I loved, and our server Lorenzo was absolutely charming.
My only complaint was that the base they use for their gluten-free pizza options is underwhelming (I assume a store-bought cauliflower base) and I would implore them to find a better option.

This is my second time eating here at Locanda Sorrento & wow the food & the service gets better every time. Had reservations for 5:45pm and was sat immediately by the hostess, followed by our great server. I got the special Rib eye steak, & it was fantastic. Even the side salad was great with that lemon dressing. Always have to finish it with their lemoncello dessert. 10/10 experience as always.
Always Delicious entrees and drinks. Felt a little pushed which was somewhat unsettling. Repeated requests to take our "whole" order while we were trying to enjoy our cocktail and appetizer. Noise level was a little loud though making it difficult to hear conversation, even across the table.
Love the energy, the food and the cocktails here! It's cozy and charming, not so loud that you can't talk with friends but still a lively little place.
We have been searching for a new favorite Italian place since our old one closed a few years ago. This had such a fun, family atmosphere with the friendliest staff. We absolutely loved everything that we ordered! We ordered bread basket and the meatballs for appetizers which was the perfect start to our meal. We ordered Casio e Pepe, Penne Alla Vodka, Lobster Ravioli, and Pollo Parmigiana and they were all so delicious!
