3rd time at Locanda Sorrento, food is VERY good, service friendly and efficient. Can be a bit loud in dining room but the dining experience is worth it.
Very loud. My Apple Watch actually fired 90 decibels alert multiple times. Food was too salty across the board.
The food is very delicious and they have a good number if vegetarian and vegan options. The best thing I liked was Cacio de pepe was made in the Parmesan wheel that is brought to your table. Great experience and taste.
Lovely staff and relaxed atmosphere made for a perfect Thursday lunch. Solid recommendation of rosé to compliment clams and pasta. The pizza crust had the right texture and flavor. The Tiramisu would have made nonna smile. We'll be back.
I treated my love for Father's Day and he had an amazing time. Food was top notch and the drinks amazing!!
Have been many times, food and service are always fantastic. Highly recommend the Cacio e Pepe. It's amazing and tossed table side in a full Parmesan wheel.
Friday evening, we made a reservation for 5; the restaurant was packed but we just waited 10mn for our table to be ready. A bit noisy when there is a birthday :) The waitress was attentive; good menu for cocktails and wines.
There were several big parties while we were there and the service was practically nonexistent.
Fantastic food! Loved ordering the pasta that they serve at your table, tossing it in a bowl made of parmiggiano reggiano cheese that melt with the hot pasta. Fun to watch and delicious!
Always a great experience at Locanda Sorrento. Whether we sit at the bar or a table, great service and excellent food. Rosa is fantastic and assists with dietary restrictions, which makes this a go to place for us. Meatballs, lasagna, parmesan (eggplant and chicken) are wonderful. Then a touch of the lemon cello cake to finish off the night. Thank you and see you soon!

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was warm and attentive — we especially loved the singing waiter, who made the whole experience unforgettable!
Food was very delicious! The ambiance was great and the restaurant was very beautiful. The hostess came off a little cold which made me a little nervous about our experience as it was our first time at this restaurant but our server was amazing and created such a fabulous experience for us. We'll definitely be back!
Fantastic way to end the week. Wonderful meal, authentic Italian meal. Felt like I was back in Sorrento
We came here today for Mother's Day and already saw red flags of how empty the restaurant was during dinner. Service was ok, nothing special. But food was absolutely terrible. I ordered the special of the day ravioli with tomato sauce and pancetta and it was sour and oily. I was very disappointed with this special. My husband ordered the lobster ravioli which was ok but nothing worth dying for. The pizza we ordered was even worst, it was supposed to have salami on it but it was just tomato sauce and mostly crust. Each dish our table ordered were almost $30+ each so I had high expectations for the quality and taste. I also booked this spot because of the cheese wheel but to my surprise they did not have this available today. What a disappointment. Overall, i would not come back and do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. This is probably the worst Italian food I've tried.
My friend and I went to Locanda Sorrento to celebrate her birthday. It is a restaurant that neither of us had ever gone to, and both wanted to try... so to celebrate a birthday, we did it! We got a 5pm reservation, and we received excellent service!! We had cocktails (the 1137- limoncello, and the barrel aged Negroni !!) they were excellent !! I could easily imagine going back just for cocktails on the patio!! Appetizer- the Zucchini Blossoms were amazing! Freshly cooked to order, still hot on the plate! So good! Entrees: my friend had fish of the day (sea bass) and I had the pollo parmigiana... everything was great, and the vegetables were excellent! The highlight (and surprise) was the Happy Birthday serenade by Locanda Sorrento's very own Pavarotti!!!
