Delicious coffee and bakery items. Staff were attentive and polite. Atmosphere was 3 stars - it's a lovely Cafe but very noisy... bad acoustics!?? Conversation across our small two person table was difficult - hard to hear each other. I will go back though!

Overall pretty good.
Sandwiches were tasty but heavy and little greasy (bacon egg cheese & sausage egg biscuit). Coffee came out after we finished our meals so we took them to go. Server was nice and did apologize for the wait. The atmosphere was nice. $55 for 2 drinks and sandwiches. Would come back and try pasties or avo toast.

This place is ok. With the name, I just expected more, but it was nothing short of any other café really. We stumbled in closer to closing time (which is pretty early for a Sunday - 3pm?), so that's probably why we ended up with less fresh pastries. Both items we ordered tasted fine; scone was extra dry. The coffee was meh. My hot chocolate was bland and they ran out of syrup so they could not make my original request of peppermint hot chocolate. The person ringing us up forgot one pastry so we had to do an add-on, wasting more of our time bc it was closing soon. I would go back if it was the only café around, but overall, it was just OK.

I've had their pastries before and they were good but today we ordered egg sandwiches, one bacon on the burger bun, and one sausage on the biscuit. They were both really bad. The bacon seemed under cooked and the sandwich itself had such a funky taste I couldn't eat it and had to throw it away. The sausage biscuit was also very weird. The biscuit had so much butter it felt wet and undercooked. The cappuccinos were also disappointing. Not sure what's going on there but we definitely won't go back. Manresa may be just living off their name and former reputation.

Never had avocado toast like this. It felt like a salad. Not very appealing honestly

4% surcharge?
Not out or posted when I asked the cashier said it was like a tax!
Then I asked why it was listed as a surcharge and she pulled out a sign from underneath counter?
You need to fallow the letter of the law and keep this posted !
Two mediocre Croissants for $10 plus a surcharge and tip ?
Two months ago was in Paris and two Croissants where less then €3 at multiple patisserie’s every time and where all amazing so guess I should just give up on even get that sort of experience state side !
I know the cost of living and rent is high here in California but would guess the cost of that in Paris would be even higher?

Only ever tried their kouign amann pastries but they're enough to keep us coming back for more!
These are absolutely delicious, they're flaky and buttery like a croissant and have a caramelized topping that is to die for! Will keep coming back :)

I've had Manresa bread and pastries before, they are ok. Most recent visit I ordered coffee and croissant and was told they don't accept cash so I left. I could have used card but it should be considered that many people do not have easy access a bank account. Not allowing cash transactions is classist.
