Travieso Winery is a hidden gem, offering a welcoming atmosphere surrounded by wine barrels and printed art from wine labels. The winemaker/owner, Ray, warmly greets visitors with a cheese and cracker bar and a pitcher of water. The winery features exceptional wines, which taste amazing and are often clever with a dry sense of humor. Guests can enjoy wine tastings, with options including a six-wine tasting for $20, which can be applied to wine purchases and are reasonably priced for very tasty and lovely wines. Ray, the owner and winemaker, is a really nice guy and knowledgeable about his wine, and he consistently creates the very best tasting wine. This small, local winery is a great place to go for a tasting and is a fun experience.
