If you're not looking for fast food sushi, this is the place. Delicious ponzu sauce. Sushi has never failed me. Small place but worth the wait.

The service was quick and the food was brought to us by the owner of the company. The presentation they put into their cuisines are beautiful.

Hidden gem doesn't even begin to describe To Die For Sushi. Nestled in a humble space in Northridge, this place is so unassuming you might walk right past it--but don't. Because once you walk in and sit at the bar, you'll realize you've discovered one of the best sushi experiences in all of Los Angeles.

Chef Danny is a true artist. We had front-row seats to his craft and were mesmerized watching him turn simple ingredients into edible masterpieces. Every slice, every plate--pure precision and passion.

We shared a bento box with mixed tempura, mixed sushi, and sashimi, and were blown away by the variety and balance. The Heart Attack (fried jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese and topped with spicy tuna) was absolute fire--bold, indulgent, and perfectly crispy.

The Toro and salmon were melt-in-your-mouth perfection--fresh, buttery, and honestly some of the best I've had anywhere in L.A.

Our server, Samantha, was fantastic--warm, attentive, and clearly knew the menu well. She made great recommendations and timed everything perfectly.

This place is a sushi lover's dream, without the pretense or the inflated prices of trendy spots. The prices are really affordable and the quality top notch. I have paid a lot more for so much less elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and sit at the bar--watch the magic happen, savor every bite, and thank me later.

At the risk of this place getting too popular, I have to say that this is our great Friday night sushi hideout. It blends into the Reseda business district and we love it because it's small and quaint, but the sushi is so good! And the quality and value is amazing.

The food was very good but we got a stomach ache after eating here? That was a but concerning. We ordered the spicy garlic edamame and the happy hour 8 piece sushi & extra salmon sushi and fried dumpling dish also.

I went to 2 Die For Sushi in Reseda. The food was okay, not great but not terrible either. What really stood out was the green tea. It was honestly incredible, probably one of the best I’ve had. The service was polite and attentive without hovering. The space feels calm and clean, with a welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger a bit. I wouldn’t rush back for the food alone, but I didn’t walk out disappointed.

A Hidden Gem for Sushi Lovers! 🍣✨

I was looking for a good sushi spot closer to home and came across this place on Google. After checking out the photos and reviews, I decided to give it a try—and I’m glad I did!

The sushi here is top-notch—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. One thing I really appreciated is that they offer smaller portions of their rolls (e.g., 3 or 4 pieces instead of the usual 6), making it easy to sample a variety of items.

I ordered the salmon hand roll, salmon raincoat roll, rock shrimp roll, and miso soup—all were delicious! The quality of the fish was excellent, and each roll was crafted with care.

Beyond the food, the atmosphere is laid-back, and the staff is super friendly. Even with just one waitress, the service was great.

If you’re a sushi fan, I highly recommend checking this place out!

This is my bf & I's favorite sushi spot, all the rolls we've tried are so good & really taste fresh. I love the fact that you can even get half rolls for some of the rolls which is great because I have a lot of favorites that sometimes it's hard to decided which ones I want. The waitress and the sous chef are both really nice & attentive. I highly recommend this spot.

Went there for lunch on a saturday, nobody else in the place. Got their premium chef choice lunch happy hour special, was exceptionally good! Here are some of the pieces I got!

We came here on Monday evening. It was empty, but the staff were very sweet and the service girl was attentive. The food looked very presentable and tasted really yummy. We ordered a baked salmon roll, a fish tempura roll, and a cucumber roll. The only negative for us was that the taste of the crab meat kept regurgitating throughout the rest of our day. Regardless, overall the food was tasty, the staff were welcoming and friendly, and we would definitely recommend this restaurant!

This place is a little gem. Danny is a Master Sushi Chef and takes great pride and care in his work. The little restaurant is clean and well run. The Sushi is always fresh and delicious. I Love this place.
