Honestly nasty. The burger was gray and greasy (not in the tasty, expect from a burger way) and the crispy cheese had a bad aftertaste. Took 2 bites and tossed.

This is NOT Amboy. Its a completely different menu, the name of the restaurant should be different. Call it Amboy Jr or Amboy Smashed Burgers. If you are coming here thinking you are getting the famous Amboy burgers from Down Town, you are about to experience let down of biblical proportions. I am so disappointed.

I Am very disappointed. Boy, the burger looked like it would be very delicious, but it falls flat. This is far, and I mean far from the best burger for LA and the surrounding area. A magical park may even have the better burger and quoting Topanga Oh! I have a big mouth now? Surely, to provide Social subjectivity that this place was overrated.

Visited amid dinner rush! First off, the space is warm and cozy enough action while not becoming hectic! I had the truffle burger which had parmesan-reggiano & truffle aioli. It was so good and very luxe. You knew that burger was going to be good before we ever took our first bite just by the smell of it as it arrived! Then, the flavors backed it up.

The cheeseburger they sell reminds me of smash burgers - it was meaty, pretty tasty and fulfilling. Shoe string fries was ok, ordering with a sauce is a must - good paired with burger sauce, garlic ranch is too heavy imho. Delivered fast. Service was good. Ambience is ok, crowded food court with a weird selection of music. Overall not bad, solid 4. Try it and see it yourself. Bon appetite

The service and set up of restaurants at Topanga social is just so bad. Youre ordering online and the employees are disempowered from being helpful. Want ketchup with your fries, too bad. Want a soda, you'll have to cross the pavilion to get it.
First time trying Amboy and it was solid. Good sized burger, juicy patties and great flavor. My son got the Amboy Chester, which is basically a patty melt (grilled cheese with hamburger meat inside) and he loved it. The fries were nice and crispy too. Would definitely eat there again.

Burger meat was dry and not enough sauce. Parts of it had sauce and parts of it didn’t. It would’ve been nice to warm up the bun so that didn’t help either. The flavor of the sauce was good. I expected a little more for the price.
