Baba Sweets is a well-known spot, and for good reason. The paneer paratha and gobi paratha were both incredibly flavorful—authentic, perfectly spiced, and served fresh. They really captured the taste of true Punjabi home cooking. The chaat was just okay, nothing special, but the complimentary hot jalebi was a great touch—crispy, warm, and delicious!

Everytime i visit from out of town, i make sure to stop at baba sweets and devour their Cholle Bhathure & Kulcha which takes me right back to my roots in Delhi and Punjab, and special mention about unlimited free chai to wash down the grease. The place is very low key but remarkably potent to enjoy some amazing mom/pops type of vibes.

Baba Sweets is hands-down my favorite spot in the San Fernando Valley for delicious, authentic Indian vegetarian food. The flavors are always fresh and perfectly spiced — you can really taste the homemade quality in every bite. I love their samosas, chaat, and the sweets counter is incredible — you can’t leave without trying the fresh jalebi!
