My wife stopped by this El Pollo Loco to grab lunch so I asked for the Classic Pollo Bowl. I wanted it with no beans or onion but extra salsa. My wife got her regular chicken plate with beans and Mac and cheese.

The portion they give at this location with the chicken wasn't that much. I got more chicken pieces at another El Pollo Loco location near my house. They also didn't put extra salsa in the bowl so I just used the salsa that came with my wife...

I went inside to order the meal for 2 (4 pieces of chicken, 4 tortillas, 2 churros, 2 salads, 2 sides) on a Monday night through the kiosk. I was able to log in through the app on my phone. I even scanned a coupon. The interface was easy to use without a cashier. The food came out timely, and tasted delicious. The place seems to have improved quite a bit recently.

Pretty decent I ordered a shrimp and chicken tostada or double tostada. I guess it’s called. It was literally delicious. I am surprised because I was skeptical about the shrimps at El Pollo Loco but let me tell you they were incredibly crunchy fresh spicy and delicious. I totally recommend this plate.
