We needed a place to eat dinner late on Friday night and found Henri's. They were closing in 15 minutes but gladly allowed us to sit and order. We didn't want to make it hard for them so we just ordered breakfast for dinner and it was delicious! We are picky in our bacon and hashbrowns and want them cooked very crispy. They were the best we ever had! The next day we came back for breakfast for real and pretty much ordered the same thing. Unfortunately it must have been a different cook. Although it was good and plentiful it was not cooked as nicely as the night before. Definitely NOT a deal breaker cause Henri's is really very good and the staff is exceptionall - both visits. We could tell it is a local favorite and that is always a good sign.

Nice old school coffee shop diner with a big selection of breakfast items and lunch and dinner items. Prices are not bad, better than most for a place like this. Opened in 1971 I think and it hasn't changed much. A Canoga Park Iconic place.

Walked in, sat at counter. Was not acknowledged by 2 servers who were busy talking about night before. No menu, walked out after 10 minutes. Very disappointed. I used to have breakfast here 10 yrs ago.
Today around noon my family and I visited henris for the first time from out of state. From the beginning we didn’t get to sit together we were sat at different tables it was inconvenient but with it being busy we understood. Three workers came up to us without introduction so we were all confused who our server was, while ordering drinks they took the first half our tables drinks without acknowledging us. It would have been nice for them to communicate with each other that we were all together. We had to flag down a diff worker to get our drink orders as well. While ordering our meals, we had a few questions about the menu to ask and JOY the waitress seemed very disinterested and didn’t have much to say back when asked about the menu. That was the start, two of our meals came out wrong and we immediately corrected it but it came with attitude and body language. We were all disappointed since we love taking care of our service workers plus being someone who currently manages and serves at two restaurants, this was by far the worst service I received in long long time. The rest of the staff were all good I will mention. SNATCHING the cash and signed receipt while we are still sitting at the table, JOY your tip reflected your service. Do better.

I do not typically leave reviews- For Henri’s, I had to! If you need a chicken fried steak, look no further. I moved from Dallas, TX in March of 2023. Ever since, I have been on the hunt for a good chicken fried steak. And today I found it! Not only is it delicious; it is affordable. No ridiculous pricing here- As a person from the south, it is refreshing to see bigger portioned meals at a good price, such friendly service, and an old school diner feel. Thank you, Henris. You made a few new fans.😋😋
