I ordered and paid for 3 meals and was only given 2 meals. I called and texted but nobody responds.

chicken curry was decent, but not worthy of a return trip. the potato salad was nasty. katsu sauce and curry sauce was nasty. rice was dry. not a very good experience. better off upstairs at the dining terrace.

This Japanese delicacy redefines the art of sandwich-making, boasting tender, succulent cutlets enveloped between pillowy-soft bread slices. Each bite unveils a harmonious blend of flavors and textures, from the crispiness of the breaded coating to the juicy tenderness of the meat within. Accompanied by a refreshing side of crisp cabbage and delectable dipping sauces, every element of this dish is thoughtfully curated to perfection. Whether you're a connoisseur of Japanese cuisine or simply seeking a taste sensation, Katsu Sando located inside Topanga Social promises a sublime culinary experience that will leave you craving more.

I love this place! Besides a real katsu restaurant in Torrance, that solely specializes in katsu, this is the second best I've had. Haven't tried the sandwiches, but the chicken, pork, and even ebi plates are ?. Beware, the shrimp is a chopped shrimp patty, not single shrimp's, but it is still very delicious!! The slaw is better than the potato salad in my opinion. The pickled Daikin is awesome too! Really good katsu sauce as well, you need to purchase it though for like .75 cents, but it's a must! Kinda pricey, but so is everything else at Topanga social.

This place was good! Katsu curry dish was Japanese and most likely Hawaiian local approved! I had the Katsu curry dish that was served in a Hawaiian style plate and the Katsu Sando. Yes it was a bit pricey, but the taste was good!

Disregard the bad reviews this place and other places at Topanga Social have - people really have no clue what they’re talking about. This place is awesome! If you love katsu, you will really enjoy Katsu Sando. This is a classic quick Japanese snack, and even though it’s not the quickest thing in the world here, it’s well worth the wait. I got the Honey Walnut Shrimp Sando and the Curry Cheese Fries this visit - they were AWESOME! The sando tasted like the sandwich version of honey walnut shrimp you’d get at places like Panda Express. If you’re craving that type of food, this is like the ultimate place. The Curry Cheese Fries were amazing!! They’re cheesy waffle fries with a Japanese curry sauce - massive portion, and super tasty. Do keep in mind this place isn’t cheap; however, this is in a very upscale mall, so the prices are entirely reasonable. This is the closest food-court type place I have seen anywhere in the US to things you’d see in Singapore and Thailand. It is amazing and I am so happy Topanga Social is here. Check this place out!!

This is the tenth or eleventh time I had Katsu Sando but my very first in Topanga and it is disappointing as heck. The sando is ready within 30 seconds I ordered on the kiosk and as expected, the chicken cutlet is cold, the breading just shreds off, it is flavorless even with the sauce, and the bread is soggy. At the time I ordered the kiosk also didn't have their portobello sando too, I guess they ran out or didn't have them readily fried earlier and have it available for the entire day.I'll go back to the Chinatown location as I always had done, I'd rather wait 15 minutes and knowing I will get a freshly fried cutlet. What a bummer.
