Ok so just waited a snack and saw curry cheese waffle fries and OMG was it so good. Fresh and hot and fried potato goodness you can't go wrong. Enjoy Yelpers.

Horrible....this place sells the Americanized version of katsu sandwiches. I actually don't think the owner knows what a Japanese katsu sandwich actually looks like because what I ate was not that. It was basically a piece of dry fried chicken stuck between two slices of white bread. Even the cheese offered to put on it is American cheese in a cup...pretty sure the katsu sauce is also barbecue sauce. Wasted $50 on two sandwiches and a side of fries...it was hard to even finish the meal and I wish I went hungry instead instead

I love this place! Besides a real katsu restaurant in Torrance, that solely specializes in katsu, this is the second best I've had. Haven't tried the sandwiches, but the chicken, pork, and even ebi plates are ?. Beware, the shrimp is a chopped shrimp patty, not single shrimp's, but it is still very delicious!! The slaw is better than the potato salad in my opinion. The pickled Daikin is awesome too! Really good katsu sauce as well, you need to purchase it though for like .75 cents, but it's a must! Kinda pricey, but so is everything else at Topanga social.

Good was disgusting, the shrimp was slimy and the coleslaw tasted old. I can't even begin to talk about the undercooked chicken. However great service!

Can't believe you have to pay extra for katsu sauce when you buy a katsu plate... and then to top it off, the katsu sauce was terribly sweet and the pork katsu was overly breaded. When you order, the picture of the plate shows cabbage/coleslaw + macaroni salad but there is no macaroni salad with the katsu plate. Instead, there's a ton of yellow daikon radish (more than most would ever eat in one sitting). It was just so bad and so overpriced that I felt compelled to write this review to save someone from wasting their money.

Hubby and I picked up the Pork Katsu from here for $15. Right off the bat, that is pricey. It's just the sando by itself with no sides or anything. The sando was good. The pork katsu was thick and crispy. The sauce added some extra depth to the sando. The bread was okay though. It didn't really pair well with the pork in my opinion. For some reason it was too bland. The pork katsu tasted just fine on its own.

Not sure where all of the bad reviews came from but my man and i loved it here! Topanga Social is a cool environment, and the people at this location rock. They had our order ready so quick and the chicken was to die for. Super juicy and crispy and tender. Normally I don't eat a lot when I go out but I basically inhaled this sandwich. It was tasty! 100% coming back, thank y'all for a great meal

WOW! what a ripoff I was craving katsu curry so went here after about an hour trying to park (not this place's fault but comeon westfield, do better!) i went to this place, could not order from a human but only on an ipad. waited on my plate and then this junk showed up. I commented on the tiny plastic cup of curry sauce but the girl told me she could bot do anything and this is how they make it. Avoid this place at all cost!

First time ate here. Was less than mediocre taste. Food came in a box. Rice, katsu, potato salad all mediocre. $16.95! Topanga Social sounds cool.. but

I enjoyed my katsu curry plate from here. I got the chicken katsu my only complaint is the amount of curry sauce given should be larger. The katsu was perfectly fried with being nice and crispy but not oily. It was served with a potato salad and yellow pickled radish.

One of the many restaurants inside Topanga Social. I ordered: Chicken Katsu Sando Chicken breast, thinly shredded cabbage with yuzu-kosho dressing, katsu sauce, honey milk bread The chicken breast inside the sandwich was pretty big in size so I was able to share half with a friend. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either so 3 star rating is where I stand. I agree with other reviewers, it's kind of bland and needed more flavor to enjoy to be able to enjoy it.
