I was there earlier this morning. Sweet couple helped me out with choosing my to go food. 1st timer but they made me feel at home with ease. Good choices of food like, liver steak, kare-kare, beef steak, longganisa, etcetera. They even offered me free soup. I couldn't wait to get home and taste it. It's not a disappointment at all. Yummy to the max.... I'll come back again

Tito and tita behind the counter were so nice and they were very patient with my indecisive ass. I had the breakfast plate...fried rice, longanisa, corned beef, and eggs. *chefs kiss* so good!!

My wife is from the Philippines, and we have no Filipino restaurants in our town. So whenever we visit a larger area, I'll search for a Filipino restaurant; maybe the real reason is I love Filipino food ;-) It's a very basic turo turo restaurant where you order at the counter from the buffet assortment. The owner was sweet and the food authentic and delicious. My wife was transported home. I got the goat caldereta, tender goat and flavorful sauce. My wife got the fried tuyo (herring) and tocino and was grinning the whole meal. The only problem is that he should charge more;-) Salamat Lasang Pinas

I arrived there at 6:27 PM server came to me at 6:40 when i asked for water. The water did not come until 7:00. The salad came at 7:10 the pizza came and it was burnt had to wait another 20 min for a new one. did not leave until 7:58 PM . That is over 90 min to stay for dinner.

I had sinigang na baboy and ginataang gulay. The sinigang was okay but the ginataang gulay didn't taste fresh. In fact, when I arrived at 1 pm, their food looked a day old. My overall impression of the place was untidy. Their health score was a B on the window. Disappointing and won't be coming back.

Great food, very affordable and great customer service. If you're not familiar with something, ask for a sample! You'll regret not having come here sooner. Will be back.

We love supporting local businesses, especially Filipino Mom 'n Pop (or is it Nanay 'n Tatay) restaurants... and we are happy to offer Lasang Pinas a 5-Star review for kind, personal service and delicious Filipino fare that has been sarap sarap (delicious) each time we have visited in the last month or two. They offer an excellent variety of offerings from bistek to dinuguan, pork asado to sinigang. Everything we've tried has been excellent! We'll return again and again.

If you are coming for the lechon, call ahead to ask if they have it. I rolled in on a Saturday to try it out and arrived around 11am. The server told me "I'm sorry we don't have lechon. (He pointed to the buffet table full of prepared stews and side dishes and said) "this is all we have today...all day". I said no problem thanks and I left. Me: but isn't lechon the whole basis of a Filipino restaurant? SMH ‍

This place is best described as Chatsworth's hole-in-the-wall place for rich and savory Filipino food. You take your pick of 1 to 3 native Filipino viands with a side of plain or garlic fried rice to create your lunch combo meal. The cooked rice is okay (personally, I prefer a better quality jasmine rice). Soup is free, so don't hesitate to ask for it on the side. Most dishes are on the meat category, but they usually have 1 or 2 vegetable dishes per day. It's also also noteworthy that they serve exotic Filipino dishes here like their unique, home-style bopis (pork heart and lung stew), my favorite dinakdakan (savory sour pork belly slices) and the gutsy papaitan (spicy sour and bitter bile soup), a dish you will either love or hate ?.The price is cheaper than other nearby Filipino food places. Taste and quality is excellent. Food presentation and the ambiance of the place is acceptable. The amount of food is remarkable in my opinion. The people who serve the food everytime I visit are very kind, welcoming and cordial. I was offered a discount to try a new dish and bonus amount of food. That's another thing that consider as a plus. A big shoutout to the "ate" and "kuya" (whom I didn't catch the name) behind the counter. In conclusion of my review, I would gladly recommend this place to anyone who are lovers of and novices to Filipino food.

Cute spot, plays great music, and large portion for one. The lechon is made fresh and phas a perfect crunchy meat to fat ratio. Masarap!
