The Chicken Parmesan is Amazing

I'm not sure why this place is rated so low but I have to say that I stepped into this restaurant and loved everything about my night. First off the atmosphere is beautiful, with large windows (they open when weather permits) and no noise issues.

We sat at the bar when we arrived at 8:00 and found the restaurant to be busy enough to be busy but they still could accommodate us with a table.

We ordered the carpaccio which I thought was lovely, I personally thought the sauce may have been a bit too much as I loved the delicate flavor of the meat. We also order the focaccia bread...omg it was out of this world delicious, tender and the crust on the outside...yum.

We shared a kale salad that they split for us (so kind) and lasagne that was a personal size and the perfect combo for us. Honestly the wine, the staff, the food everything about this place was out of this world and I highly recommend visiting.

I really liked the prime rib pasta, but my daughter said her pasta dish (can't remember the name) was too greasy. We both really liked the garlic bread.

Food quality fell short this time, the meats was over salted and overcooked (dry). Our waiter was very nice but too busy to realize we didn't eat our main course. Additional staff for a valentines dinner event may have changed the experience.

Food and preset Vday menu was great and delicious. Service was great but the main course did take some time to come out, however I do understand it was a busy day so it is understandable. All in all great food and drinks, the old fashioned was well made and not watered down.

There were highs and lows at dinner. There was a birthday cake left at the hostess stand with instructions and the hostess wrote them down and it was brought out perfectly. But two people had the branzino and it was dry and unexciting. Two people had the lasagna and it came out cold and was sent back. When the second one came out it was also not hot or fully cooked. The THIRD one finally was cooked with fully melted cheese. Of course by then, everyone else had finished their dinner. It was awkward and took over the meal. Certainly not the way it should have been. Our waitress was great. None of that was her fault. The lasagna should have been taken off the bill.

I believe I got strozzpretti and my bf got the vodka pasta both plates were great

North Italia, sitting right next door to Cheesecake Factory, is the quieter, sharper, more refined sibling. Less chaos, more control. Less noise, more confidence. This is where I go when I want real dinner, real conversation, real wine — not when I’m counting calories or checking prices. If you’re scared of dollar signs, turn around politely.

The food? Très sérieux. Handmade pasta that actually tastes handmade, sauces that don’t scream for attention but quietly dominate, ingredients that feel intentional, not rushed. Every plate comes out like it knows exactly why it exists. Elegant, balanced, indulgent without being sloppy. This is not “Instagram food” — this is grown-up pleasure.

Yes, it’s expensive. Yes, the bill will look at you funny. And yes — it’s absolutely worth it. Quality costs money, darling. If you want cheap thrills, there are plenty of places for that. North Italia is about taste, restraint, and confidence.

The atmosphere is where this place really wins me over. Calm, refined, polished. You can actually hear yourself think. Perfect lighting, beautiful interiors, the kind of place where you lean back in your chair, sip wine slowly, and let people notice you without trying. Fancy enough for my standards, relaxed enough that I don’t feel like I’m performing.

Service is sharp and professional — attentive, respectful, not clingy. They treat you like someone who belongs there, not like a customer they’re trying to impress. I appreciate that. I don’t need extra smiles — just competence.

This is where I imagine sitting across from my handsome, slightly dangerous businessman (you know who you are), sharing plates, exchanging looks, laughing quietly, and pretending the rest of the restaurant doesn’t exist. A little romance, a little arrogance, a lot of confidence.

Bottom line:
North Italia is refined, expensive, delicious, and unapologetic.
If Cheesecake Factory is the fun crowd-pleaser, this is the executive dinner.

Excellent food and the service was impeccable! My wife and went for Dine LA and the menu had amazing selections. I can't wait to go back!

We had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant, and a big part of it was thanks to our waitress EMAD . He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we sat down.

He explained the menu perfectly, answered all of our questions with patience, and gave great recommendations that we absolutely loved. It’s rare to come across someone who truly cares about the guest experience the way she does.

His positive energy and professionalism made our visit even more enjoyable. Outstanding service like this deserves to be recognized — we will definitely be coming back! Thank you EMAD
