We like to go here for a late lunch and sit outside on the patio. They have one of the best Caesar salads. And I like their fresh pastas like the STROZZAPRETI. The service is always good. The only downside is if you want to order from their happy hour menu you have to sit at the high top tables inside the restaurant. Sidenote: I had no idea this restaurant chain is owned by the owners of Cheesecake Factory. Quite a surprise, as this is slightly more of an elevated experience.

Very delicious food. However the kitchen, the waiters staff and the bus service were not in sync. Everything was slow and uncoordinated. Food was cold too; tasty but we had to send it back. Overall bad experience with the service but we will try this place again because it was maybe just an off night for the staff. And again the food was great but there's more to dining out than just yummy food.

It's our first time to dine here as it is new. We ordered what our server, Joseph, recommended. We tried their Calamari Fritti and White Truffle Garlic Bread for appetizers. We loved it! As for our entree, we had Roasted Porchetta, and Braised Short Rib Lumache. For pasta, we ordered Strozzapreti and Spicy Rigatoni Vodka. All dishes were so so good and the serving is also good for sharing. The ambiance of the place is nice too. They have tv that shows sports - we watched a baseball game from our table. There are also booths and bar seating as well. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner at this new place in Topanga Mall.

A disappointing experience for my wife and I on a Saturday afternoon. Went in and was fairly excited to try this new restaurant. We were told that the wait time was 45 minutes. We happily left our phone number and name. We waited 1hour or more to be seated to our table. We ordered our drinks (2 cokes) and 10 minutes later..our waiter came back 10-15 minutes later and said they were out of coke. Lol. How can you have a full bar and be out of coke? Our waiter joked and said maybe he can borrow some at the Cheesecake Factory next door. I replied by asking what other sodas they have. Our waiter came back with our drinks and took our order for our appetizers. We ordered the garlic truffle bread and meatballs. This is where it took such a negative turn. We waited over 30 minutes for appetizers and see other customers that were seated after us get their full meal by this time. In between waiting for the appetizers, we also ordered our entrees. After waiting an hour to be seated and over 30 minutes for appetizers we never received, we decided to leave and I requested to speak to the manager. I told her calmly about our experience. I am positive that it's not the restaurant and that the negative experience came from our waiter. I saw this man walking around talking to his coworkers for almost 2 hours of us being there. If you do decide to try this place..I hope you have a better experience than we did and you actually get to taste their food. One heads up...ask for a different waiter if you get seated and a big bald white guy greets you. Beware.

A new valley favorite if you are looking for a casual dining spot for big dinner groups or a small date for two. It's located at the Topanga mall so parking can be a little difficult at times. My party came during dinner on Wednesday. Reservations were made ahead of time so we were seated quickly when we arrived. Our server was an absolute delight, very patient too since we couldn't decide what to get multiple times but made excellent recommendations. Portion sizes are on the smaller side for big groups so definitely order a few of the appetizers for the table. Pro tip: order two of the white truffle garlic bread - it was amazing. I can honestly say I'll come back here just for the garlic bread. Next we shared the Italian meatballs - the creamy polenta was a plus! The funghi pizza is a must if you love mushrooms. Ricotta cavatelli - the perfect amount of cheese and seafood in a dish. Great variety of cocktail options. The only downside is the desserts aren't up to par with the main courses.

I visited this spot last night for a belated birthday gathering for my fiancé, and his friend who both have March birthdays, and North Italia did not disappoint! We could not manage to grab a reservation before 8pm, so we met up for drinks at Topanga Social beforehand, and made our way over to North Italia, to split some small bites, and grab some entrees - everything was fantastic! For the appetizers, my favorites were the Wild Shrimp Scampi appetizer that comes with 5 large shrimp in a small pan of its own sauce, & toasted bread, and the Cacio e Pepe Arancini! The Calamari Fritti was decent, but could be skipped in my opinion. To drink I tried the La Dolce Vita, and later split a bottle of Chianti to pair with dinner. The drink was sweet, but strong, and the wine was delicious. For my main, I enjoyed the Braised Shortrib Lumache, which was so good, I didn't have any to bring home! Our server was attentive, and provided menu suggestions, and even alerted us that my fiancé's and friend's desserts would be free in honor of their birthdays! We ordered the Tiramisu, and the Bombolini (comes with 4 donuts each, but we cut them in half) and shared amongst our group of 6. Both great! North Italia might be a chain, but it definitely offers a fine-dining-like experience in terms of the food quality, and a hip gastropub-like ambiance. The price point isn't too bad either. We'll definitely be back!

Good food, good drinks, cute ambiance and a great time. Another girls night and like always it's difficult to come up with a place of where to go. One of the girls recommended this place and she was right. We ordered a few appetizers- calamari and prosciutto bruschetta. To drink I had the tranquilo an exquisite chamomile cocktail. I highly recommend it. We each ordered a different type of pasta and from what I heard they were all very delicious. The chicken pesto, I can't wait to have it again. The service was nice. Our waiter is the one who recommended the drink that I was really happy about. FYI this location is by The Cheesecake Factory.

Good place for happy hour and the pizza was tasty too. Chose the $40 special which includes bottle of wine and pizza (if you choose). The best deal around. Had to sit in the bar/High Tops area for the happy hour menu. Would definitely return. Service started out slow but eventually we got a waiter and everything went well from there. Lively atmosphere and you can bring friends or colleagues.

Food was delicious, but the service was BEYOND awful! Took forever to get anything- menus, place our order, water and refills, speak to manger (asked twice), the check...EVERYTHING! Honestly, can't think of any dining experience where the service was this awful. Sooo wanted to love this place (since the food was so good) - but if service is so terrible and the manager DIDNT CARE- why bother going back? Expected much more from a Cheesecake Factory related restaurant.

2nd time at this place and the service was pretty bad. First time we did dine in and the service was beyond laggy. This time was even worse with zero customer service. People up front had their backs to the door when I walked in. I had to ask who I can speak with for my takeout order. Had to wait for them to get another person even though there were 3 employees up front. Ended up waiting 40 minutes for my takeout order I was told would take 20. When I asked multiple times what the eta was I kept getting ignored. When I asked the person who brought my order of my food would be cold since I saw it sitting there in the kitchen the whole time he assured me it wouldn't be. Not one employee apologized for the delay. Guess what when I got home our food was cold. The truffle bread was soggy and ice cold. Unsure if I'm going to give this place another shot.

Loved the food here. Was lucky enough to eat at the location in El Segundo, and was excited to see they opened one up near me. We were brave and walked in without a reservation on a Saturday night. They said between 30-45 minutes, and it was much faster than that. We had to reorder the truffle garlic bread, because it was all I could think about for weeks. We had split the chicken parm and the pig pizza. We had a good experience with our waiter because he had us get extra crispy prosciutto, and when the dish arrived he pointed out that there wasn't a lot, and had the manager come over and not only bring us extra, but comp the up charge. The food is stellar, and the service is great. Suffice it to say, I'll definitely be returning.

Our reservation was for 5:30, we finally got seated at 6:30, and finally able to order at 7! Service was horrible. We were mostly ignored, had to ask for refills of our water glasses, and after we ate, dirty dishes were on our table for a long time. Super noisy place. The food was good, Not exceptional. But the experience was marred by the lousy service. We were finally able to leave by 8:40. Perhaps a week night would be a better experience!? We were there On a rainy Sunday.
