I had such a lovely experience at this Starbucks inside the Topanga Mall. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile, and the staff honestly made my day. Even though it was a busy afternoon, they kept things moving smoothly and made sure everyone felt taken care of.
I ordered an iced brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso my goto, and it was made perfectly balanced, refreshing, and just what I needed after a long day of shopping. The barista even double-checked my name and asked if I wanted a straw or not, which might seem small, but it really made me feel seen and valued.
The seating area was clean and calm, and I appreciated that I could sit for a bit, recharge, and people watch without feeling rushed. There’s something about this location that just feels cozy, even in the middle of a busy mall. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. Great drinks, kind team, and a little pocket of calm in the chaos of the mall.

Starbucks policy now prohibits workers from giving out ice or water cups without a purchase. Just a slap in the face to customers and the homeless. Billion dollar corporation refusing an item that cost them essentially nothing, maybe 3-6 cents. Just sad what this establishment has come to.

One the lady that was making the drinks totally rude. Number two the guy got my order wrong on the cashier and they charge me again an extra $.60 to get it correctly, even though it was their mistake. What happened to customers always write I have multiple receipts of how much my drink usually charges and I just got one yesterday from the same Starbucks so they overcharged me and was completely rude and got my order wrong. And made me pay more.

It just so happens that the person always takes the wrong order and I’m about to think that it has been something personal with me because they always leave me waiting more than 25 minutes for a coffee (which takes less time) very incompetent and haughty with the customer.

Every day me or my family order from this specific starbucks. it's the closest to our home altho there are other locations which are just slightly farther out. Came in today and tried to order a venti ice water as I had already had a coffee early that day and was told that "they were not going to be able to do that". this has happened to me 2 times before by the same person even though others have gratefully completed this request before. I will not be ordering from here again and will ask my family too do the same as we can travel to a different location. funny enough 2 blocks over they were more than happy to fulfill my request. Hope someone in management or corporate can resolve why this is an issue.
