I always loved this restaurant. especially lunch for breakfast. I am here cause my grandmother told me about how in the 90's. The owners and employees were part of my life. My disabled mother and disabled brother made life hard, but these folks stepped in to help a stranger. You took me shopping cause my mom was missing, you made my brother and I dinner at our home. You would often help by being there for my brother when I couldn't be to get him off the bus? Like WOW, I don't know who you 3 or 4 special people are because I was young. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU !! my brother passed away recently and my favorite people came out of those baby blue apartments right next door to you. This was from 90-92. I hope Great thing for you and your families.

The food was good. It was a little heavy on the stomach, but you can’t beat the price nor can you beat the selections they had available. It was definitely a “blast from the past” dining in. And if you like to be reminded of the old days of Jazz and a little bit of the segregation era this is the place to visit visual wise. The food and service was great and everyone was very welcoming and kind.

here we go again, losing a great place to "progress"...my guess is they will put up more apts or another useless retail entity. the new owners should renew the lease, but, the almighty $ must rule, too bad. i will miss the great food, and superlative service (special recognition to Joselyn as she "personalizes" her work by remembering your name and what you usually order). my best wishes to everybody and i pray they will open up somewhere else in the sfv.

Child friendly , GOOD food , the 50's style decor is amazing. I've been coming here since the early 90's it's sad to see this beautiful establishment leave. Best breakfast in town. Ruben and team always made you feel like family.

Took forever with my order, they forgot my add ons i was charged for and i had to repeatedly ask for. Food was over cooked. Nice atmosphere and aesthetic to the diner, but food is lacking.

If you are not of Spanish decent and your not family they do not treat their customers nice. There were three white family's there and all had towait 20 to 30 minutes just to get there drinks while other people of Spanish decent came in was seated and within 15min got their drinks and was treated with respect. When we finally got our drinks and food it was under cooked and their were ants in the food total turn off. IM NEVER GOING BACK TO STARS DRIVE-IN...
All the food is good and love the 50’s indoor style with each table having a jukebox to hear old music !

I cannot stand it when a business cuts corners on expenses I’m not running the air conditioner. They really have good food but the fact that I was pouring sweat while I was eating was not appealing.

Good food. They have a drive thru. Hadn’t been there before the lockdown so I haven’t dined in but the tables are plentiful and the ambiance is nice. You can’t make a left off Sherman way going east to get in their driveway. Have to either make an illegal u-turn or go down a few streets and do a legal u-turn so try to come west down Sherman Way to avoid the minor annoyance. I always forget. That’s the annoyance lol
