Let's see, True Puerto Rican food in Los Angeles. No way. Always have to get my fix by going to New York or the Island. This is the only place I can say is "TRUE" Puerto Rican food. Real Mofongo, carne and pollo Guisa like my mother and grandmother made. Alcapurria, and Empanadillas were good. Can't wait to try the Papas Rellenos, Sorullitos De Maiz , and the true test, Arroz Con Gandules. So you know I'll be back. If you're picking up, the place can be hard to find. It's in an industrial area, but you can see the beautiful Puerto Rican bandera welcoming you. They are the first door on the right. You need to knock for service. The door was not marked and the only complaint I had. "WILL" be going back. After 40 years in LA, it has finally arrived. Mi Gente.

the food was amazing, best Puerto Rican food I've had since being in actual Puerto Rico, didn't think it'd be able to settle for LA PR food but I found my spot, this is it, brings back memories of my Abuelita's cooking

This place is the real DEAL. Finally us boriqueños can have what we are meant to eat!Update: Ordered here again and food was not as good as it was the first time. Overly salty and lacking that authentic flavor. Still good... Dont lose the authentic flavor!

I hate leaving a low review but would hate for anyone else to be disappointed like we were. We have no choice but to leave them a 1 star rating. We ordered online, drove over an hour only to find no one was there. Before anyone asks, we made sure it was during their posted business hours. Called their business number and even tried to send a text, no response. We can only guess they were closed because of the holidays (we went between Christmas and New years) but either way, some response at some point would have been nice. We had to go through out bank to get our money back. As stated by others its located in a catering building so its a little odd. They have a ring door bell also installed outside their kitchen though its no use since its not even charged or functional. Advice: If you are really set on trying them out try calling them ahead of time. They clearly don't update things to reflect their actual business hours.

One thing to note is the food here is ordered for take out and catering. Which is a pity because it's make for a great sit down experience. So we can only rate and review the food here based on that type of experience. We ordered Christmas food - pernil (pork), rice with pigeon peas, and a macaroni salad. Everything tasted great. If you like strongly seasoned meat you'll really enjoy their pork - bearing in mind taste really varies when it comes to how much seasoning we each prefer. The portions could be a little bigger - but that may be the glutton in me. Hopefully this will someday become a sit down restaurant.

I always have Puerto Rican food at my boyfriends family house, and this food tasted just like it. So much flavor and love put into it. So happy we found this place. We will definitely be back.

Just to give you a heads up... if you want real, authentic, great tasting Puerto Rican food... then look no further. We ordered the the camarón mofongo al ajito and the Arroz con gandules y pernil. My god this was amazing! I literally almost shed a tear as the food took me back to my grandmothers kitchen as a little boy. The aroma: heavenly The taste: oragasmic The pernil: juicier than a mango The mofongo: To die for The flavor: identical to my grandmother. 10/10 I highly recommend their kitchen if you're missing Puerto Rico like I am.

Absolutely a must have!!! I order take out every time and it's always fresh and still good when I get home. I normally get the arroz con pollo y tostones. The mofongo is hands down the best I've ever had. I get it more often than I'd like to admit lol. By far the best Puerto Rican food in the valley!
