Food was good. Service was terrible. We were there Sunday morning. Only 1 server. Took 30 minutes before she acknowledged us and took our order.

Great food and wonderful staff. I had the Sweet and Sour cabbage soup, hmmmmm! My friend had a steak salad and she said it was great, also.

Don't recommend ordering the monte cristo. 2 halves of the three decker sandwich was deep fried not cut in fours and dipped then deep fry. They must have not used toothpics to hold together it was on plate very over deep fried, dark brown. So bread was crispy and some of ham and Turkey was hard to

Very pleased a good Deli is in West San Fernando valley. Atmosphere is comfortable with a family feel. Service is friendly and we always felt well taken care of. Now the food, yes the food is excellent! Last week I had smoked white fish on a bagel with cream cheese and ordered a side of potato salad to go with it. Heaven! My friend had a pastrami sandwich on rye. He said it was flavorful and lean; some of the best pastrami he's had in years. Yesterday we each had a bowl of chicken noodle soup with a matzo ball. It was almost the size of a baseball! It was flavorful and not soggy at all. We visited Weiler's Deli twice in 10 days. Can you say Happy Customers?

This place is cozy. Never crowded yet the take out orders are constant. Staff is warm and welcoming. I go there with my sons on the weekends on occasion. Just a relaxing place to have a nice breakfast. Prices are not that bad either. I usually stop in to pick up a loaf of rye whenever I am in the area. Most times they cut it in front of me. Love this place!

I’ve always loved this place. I’ve been going for many many years and now that I moved to Colorado every time I come to visit it’s one of my stops. The owner is the same for at least 25+ years and absolutely cares about the clientele and the food is always great.

I've been to Weiler's several times to order something "to go." However, the last time I was in a gentleman with authority talked me into buying a sliced Challah which was wrapped in plastic to go with my salami that I ordered. I took it home, put it in the refrigerator and two days later I took it out to make myself a sandwich. When I opened the plastic bag that was around the bread, to my horror, it was covered in mold. I took the Challah back to the store and wanted to get a refund or get a fresh Challah. But the same man refused to do anything because he said it was my fault! At that point I was so angry that I left the bag with him, told him to eat it himself and I walked out. I will NEVER, EVER walk into that store again for anything.

My wife grew up in this area, and when we were dating she told me about the matzo ball soup here. Years later, I finally got a chance to try it, today, and I was quite pleased. Specifically, the matzo ball was soft enough that it required barely any force to cut with the spoon, but didn't fall apart in the broth of the soup. Excellent.I also ordered a reuben with pastrami with onion rings, and though I'm normally not a big fan of pastrami, this stuff was amazing. The sandwich was enormous, but really nicely balanced between the juicy, fatty pastrami and the sauerkraut salty and sour goodness. The toast seemed impervious to moistening and it all held together beautifully. Glad I asked for our server's recommendation.Overall, very enjoyable experience. The only issue I had was that as a bigger guy, the booth was a little bit of a tight fit. Would opt for a table or the diner bar next time.
