This place was absolutely horrible. The food does not look like the pictures at all. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place at all. When my food came out. It looked discolored old and like a block of cheese was thrown on my plate.

While on a trip in California we had the pleasure of dining at the Capitola Diner. We enjoyed the service, the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere! We will be back the next time we're in the area.

Attention all food enthusiasts! If you're craving a mouthwatering experience, look no further than the Chicken Pesto Philly Cheese -Steak (shown as steak on menu but it’s elite with all chicken!!)  at Capitola Diner on 41st Ave. Trust me, it's a game-changer! Picture this: tender, juicy chicken loaded with gooey cheese and perfectly sautéed peppers and onions, extra pesto inside, all nestled in a soft, toasted roll. But here's the kicker – ask for a side of their special pesto sauce to elevate the flavors to new heights. You won't be able to resist drizzling it over your fries – a match made in culinary heaven! And let's talk about consistency – every visit to Capitola Diner guarantees top-notch service from the most humble owners in town. Their prices are unbeatable, and the quality of their food speaks volumes. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, you'll be treated like family from the moment you walk in. Trust me, one bite of their Chicken Pesto Philly Cheese Steak, and you'll be hooked for life. Don't miss out on this flavor sensation – head to Capitola Diner on 41st ave today and prepare to have your taste buds blown away!!

What a delicious breakfast! Everyone got what they wanted: pancakes, veggie omelette, linguisa, corned beef hash, and French toast. Our server was super friendly and the coffee was strong.

My son was going to college nearby, so we stopped in for a late night dinner. The place was absolutely packed. It looked like the place had been here for 50 years, and most of the diners were locals who know good food. I was really impressed with the menu selection And the dessert menu had some items not seen often The.staff were friendly and really knew their menu. I highly recommend this place

I live in Capitola, and frequent Capitola Diner a lot. The staff are all friendly, attentive and keep the tables and areas very clean. There are 6 TV's for those who want to watch something. The food is very good and plentiful. If you don't want hash browns or potatoes with Breakfast, a fruit cup is a good alternative. Salads are fresh and the soups are flavorful. I come here so often that the staff knows me by name, and I know theirs...it brings a homey atmosphere to the place. I recommend this gem of a diner to everyone.

Are you fulfilling my dreams of what I want to be and where I really want to be? I realized that Southern Alaska has quite a few neighborhood islands. ?
