Second time here. I love the wine choices and the menu. I had cheese and charcuterie platter. Can't go wrong with that option. I definitely enjoy the live music in the evening. Went on a Saturday. If you don't reserve or get there early though the place is small so it gets full fast and without seats they don't serve you. Cute and nice ambiance

The cheese and meat platter for 32 dollars, the cheese was very dry. The meat was ill tasting. And the grapes look like they were not fresh for sure. Very disappointing and we will not recommend Capitola wine bar to our friends. Just another tourist trap.

Walking in the ambiance is welcoming. Doug and Ann Marie have a great selection of food, wine, and beer. Best service in town with great stories about all of the different wines.

Doug, You are not remembering the incident correctly. You clearly stated that you needed to use the restroom, not access the mop sink. Also, I was not inebriated in any way. I have witnesses who saw and heard exactly what happened as my husband and friend were directly behind me in line. Bottom line is you were very rude and inconsiderate. Please do not try to deflect your deplorable actions by blaming Yelp and promoting Google. Shame on you!!

Nice environment -- I found myself with a few hours to kill in the afternoon and this place fit the bill. Really nice people and amazing wine selection.

Don't come hungry, but do come ready to enjoy some wine in a very sweet environment. Capitola wine bar has an adorably homey and friendly vibe and a great selection of wines. Good happy hour deals and trivia every other Thursday. We had the happy hour Sauvignon blanc. It's this or a Malbec and I think maybe beer too. I found the Sauvignon blanc to be lovely and fruity and a very good value. Unfortunately felt the opposite about the value of the cheeseboard and flatbread. Flavors were okay and portion size was very small for the price point. Trivia was adorable and wholesome. Three rounds of multiple choice and winners with a small prize each round. Our server and everyone working were all clearly having fun and were very friendly. Even if the food was a miss, this was such a good vibe and I really enjoyed the wine. Will be back!

We just love this place!The selection of beers, wines, and bubbly is wide-ranging and always so good.The husband/wife team that owns this business is a delight to be around and offers some of the best customer service you will ever find.Personally, I love the flights of red wine. ?

We met Ann Marie when we were walking by the wine bar and we were instant friends. She & Doug have created a beautiful space with good vibes, live music, fantastic wine and food - the patrons are top notch and super friendly too. I described the type of wine I wanted and Ann Marie poured me the perfect glass of wine. We will definitely return! One of our new favorite spots in the village.
