We're lucky to have a nice, big pool hall like Fast Eddy's in Santa Cruz. The tables are in good condition, the staff is friendly, and the beer is cold. Where else can you hang out with friends for only $12 an hour per table? Or go on your own and maybe call ahead to book a lesson with Kenny.
Fast Eddie’s is hands-down the best place to shoot pool in Santa Cruz County. The atmosphere is always welcoming, the tables are well maintained, and the staff actually treats you like a regular even if it’s your first time. Randy and Priscilla are the absolute best. They greet you with a smile the second you walk in, and they set the tone for the whole place.
If you’re into league play, this is your spot. APA 8-Ball League runs on Mondays, 9-Ball League is on Wednesdays, and the weekly Thursday night 8-ball tournament is the real highlight. It’s hosted by Madam Kat, sign-ups start at 7pm, and gameplay kicks off at 8pm. The turnout is consistently strong, the competition is solid, and the vibe is exactly what a community pool hall should feel like.
Whether you’re a beginner, a serious player, or just someone looking for a fun place to hang out, Fast Eddie’s is always a great choice. Five stars, every time.
Great tables and a pleasant atmosphere at a fair price!
Last time I was there was in the late 90's and it hasn't changed much. They even still have that French billiard table! That place used to be a little smoky (a long time ago), but nowadays, it's nice, clean and they even had the Sharks game on.
Patrons are super friendly too, which was really cool to see.
If you want to play darts, you should probably bring your own though 😂. The dart boards are awesome, but the few darts they have there are in pretty sad shape.
Great place to play pool and they have decent finger foods
Great place to be for a cool time in a billiard hall. Pretty mellow people were there the night I was there with my hunny. Had fun and I won both games.
Love this place. It's like Cheers, only it's real life and not a TV sitcom
The tables have been recovered recently which is a great improvement. Pretty chill vibes, busy on football Sundays, and friendly staff
It was a little dark but it had great full size tables for a great price it also had a small arcade and bar with TVs
Fun atmosphere and lots to do. The people who work here are really nice too!

Why would you treat the Latino bad, came with friends but when we wanted to put Hispanic
Music it was blocked. I guess they choose the crowd they want. I been leaving in Santa Cruz for 25 years, racism is true I guess.. didn’t know it be close to home
Fun clean place. Lots of tables and straight sticks. Good place to kill sometime.
Had lunch at Dharmas next door and hung out here afterwards playing pool. Price is reasonable and place is nice and well maintained. Would recommend.
Came here on a Friday with some friends and had an amazing time! It was super busy so we had to wait a bit to order because one of the ladies was talking to someone at the end of the bar and kept walking off without helping anyone, but the lady with the pink hair was busting butt helping everyone and letting us know she'd seen us and would be over to help. The music was great, the food was yummy, and I will definitely be back with more friends!

Didn't like it, nothing to drink, no food, no service!
