Whenever I’m near Santa Cruz I make sure to stop by this place to have a meal. The food and service is consistently on point. The beef teriyaki is very good and I recommend the scamon roll
Great owners and staff. The food is so good. They have authentic dishes from the kitchen like agadashi tofu, curry, udon, gyoza, etc. Miyako’s fish is fresh, they get new shipments every few days. Hands down, our favorite Japanese spot in the Santa Cruz area. Enjoy.
I started out my night in a fit of discomfort because of a rumbling stomach in turmoil with intense hunger. The feast that awaited me was… astonishing. Rich miso soup with teriyaki salmon that’s was simply put peerless. To finish off the idyllic night we shared green tea tempura with a soft yet robust flavor. At the end of the day this was one of a few restaurants worth every penny and every second of commute.
