A friend and I went to Paradise Beach Grille for a 1PM lunch. The weather was warm (67) and sunny, so we sat on the patio (in the shade for which we were grateful) with a view of the sparkling ocean. Our server was attentive, and gave us adequate time to make our decisions. The clam chowder was tasty and not too thick, the blackened ahi sandwich was delicious - with a thick piece of ahi, grilled to perfection. We very much enjoyed sipping our wine, eating our meal, and then not being the least rushed to leave - so we continued to enjoy the views.

Horrible service, server forgot my main course, never got all food for our kids meal, server wouldn't clear our table, food was extremely sub-par and incredibly overpriced. Worst restaurant experience I've had in a long, long time. I will not go back and would strongly encourage anyone to go elsewhere-don't go! Complete waste of time and money to say the least. Very disappointing.

It's wonderful to sit out on the restaurant's deck, especially on a beautiful Capitola day or evening! We ordered entree salads, with added protein, and they were delicious and plentiful. The service was outstanding, too!

The French onion soup was absolutely the best that we've had for years. I would say it was equal to any French onion soup that we've had in Paris. We will certainly go back soon.

This was THE best experience. Food was incredible, great drinks, beautiful views. But, the absolute best part was our server, Angela. She was incredible. Personable, pleasant, attentive, kind. She went above and beyond when we told her my aunt has a garlic allergy. She is a true gem and an asset to your beautiful restaurant. Can't wait to go back again.

Always a crowd pleaser and our family enjoys the food and ambience each time! Thank you, Brigitt, for the wonderful service!

Food was not tasty at all. Burger was blend. Ravioli had no flavor and the steak in the ravioli - absolutely no flavor - and chewy.

So peaceful and you have a fantastic view of the beach while you eat. It is on the more expensive side of things, but so are all the better things in life. It is very fine dining. They have the best French onion soup.

Our first time there yesterday. We were looking for a casual place with a varied menu and paradise grill fit the bill.we only had entrees salmon and halibut which were a little over done but tasty. Overheard at the next table one guest was having sea bass which we didn't see on the menu. Today while looking at a paper on Santa Cruz restaurant week I saw it was part of their prix fixe menu. We were never informed about this option. It looked good in the paper. Although they have a large beer selection none interested me..maybe another time. What I find objectionable is the now common practice of using of electronic devices to present the bill. At least here the waiter left the device for me to review the bill.

We shared the crab cakes, and potato crusted Halibut. Both were delicious! We tried the Jalapeño Margarita which hosts a whole jalapeño in the glass, and a salted rim. Also tried the Monterey Mule and the Citrus Ace, each offering a unique flavor and liquor.
The service was excellent- Our waitress checked in frequently despite being busy. The ambiance was beautiful- evening dining on the patio with heaters and the bay view. It’s our second time here, and we will visit again!

We sat outside on the patio overlooking the river/ocean. We had friends in town from NYC & N.Carolina. It was an absolutely gorgeous day. I ordered the Thursday special, the Prime Rib. I was a little skeptical, but man was it good. Cooked to perfection, a generous portion and great sides including mashed potatoes. This was my first time and we will definitely be back.

Excellent service! Colton was a cheery expeditious server. The cheese bread pull apart thing was delicious and a good value. I got the shrimp lettuce wraps and like them a lot. Pretty expensive, but you are on the beach so there's that.

The calamari was over breaded and over fried.
