I think this place may have closed. We were in Capitola last week and it was very busy with the good weather and the other restaurants were packed. This place was closed.

i found this restaurant on yelp and planned to go when I visit Capitola today. it's closed on Saturday noon without a notice. I have to go to their website and click online order to find out. some hands up would be great. I hope they still operate, you might want to verify the in advance before visiting. just a FYI

Amazing spot along the water. It seems more people were at the lower restaurants, but the view here I preferred. Had no wait time, staff was quick and gave my dog some water also +++. Going to bring more people next time.

Amazing little restaurant in downtown Capitola with a beautiful beach view, nice outdoor seating, great food, and amazing friendly customer service that's welcoming to tourists.[The Food]The food style is American/Cafe style if I had to nail it down. I highly recommend their grilled chicken sandwich, it's the first item on the menu. Also, their french fries are some of the best we've ever tried! Food taste fresh and made with care! Huge plus. They have an amazing selection of beer too.[The Location]This is located basically right on the beach, but in a little river like body of water running from it. Plenty of kayaks, paddleboarders, and swimmers to watch while you eat! They have an outdoor patio where you can sit and eat and watch the entire beach! Really cool![Customer Service]I really appreciated how nice they were to us! I know it can be hard to work in Capitola in the service industry, especially with tourists coming in with such a variety of attitudes. Everyone at this restaurant was super nice and huge plus to our server!Definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for a nice place to eat and watch the ocean!

Very disappointed. Food is not tasty and too expensive now.

You come for that outdoor seating and views, and the food is solid. Prices are on the higher side, but still reasonable for a touristy town, and I mean those views! We ended up with the fish tacos, a salad and a sandwich. - The beet salad was light without adding protein. - The fish tacos were solid with a very mild flavored fish, accompanied with chips and salsa. - The steak po'boy was enjoyed by my father in-law, but it's a glorified steak and peppers sandwich, wouldn't call it a po'boy. I spied burgers at the table over from us, and that was the order, if you need a recommendation based on looks. Overall, solid fare with a menu for everyone including some healthy, veggie forward items to go with those views. Kids menu available!

Went there with family and we were enjoying our dinner and drinks and the Manager came to our table and said “we have reservations for this table so you guys will have to leave” we all looked at each other shocked! Now I can understand if we were just sitting at the table drinking but we had ordered appetizers, drinks and dinner so we had quite a large bill. It was embarrassing and just an awful way to end a nice dinner. In all of my 48 years I have NEVER been asked to leave because they had reservations. That is poor customer service. We all agreed that we will not be going back!

The location and service was good. However we got the chili and found a frizzy black hair in it - I was with my blond friends... I also got the rosemary lemon chicken sandwich. There was not even a hint of rosemary or lemon in my chicken, and the ciabatta that it came on was quite stale. I will definitely not be going back.

Came here on a Friday night around 8 pm with my girlfriends for an overnight trip in Capitola. Very accommodating and was sat down immediately! I believe our server's name was Christian or Tristian (sorry if it's wrong lol) was super nice and checked up on us frequently. I ordered the Bavette steak which was so good and cooked perfectly, I recommend medium rare! We stayed a bit past 9pm (closing time), but we weren't pressured at all to quickly leave. Definitely going to come back here to have the Fritto Misto again and try the wild mushroom gnocchi!!!

So glad my friend and I were able to celebrate our 21st birthdays here! Adam, our bartender, deserves a raise; he was able to modify the Fritto Misto and make it vegan (and spectacularly flavorful), made us our first Cosmos (delicious), and was overall so attentive and helpful. Everything was brought out so quickly (kudos to him and the chefs), and was piping hot. The Buddha Bowl was great; the two scoops of beet hummus gave the whole bowl a pop of brilliant color and that great garbanzo flavor. The seasonal veggies were also just so colorful and tasty (and made me feel super healthy hahah). The food was honestly a feast as much for the eyes as it was for the tastebuds. The only qualm I had with the food were the fries; they had an overly soft, grainy texture inside (maybe they were overboiled first and then fried?). But other than that, great drinks, great food, and gorgeous views. Again, thanks Adam!!

Food and drinks were good. Friendly staff, but time was limited because of other reservations and there was no dessert!!!

The only thing better than the delicious food and fabulous view is the amazing service! We came to celebrate a 50th birthday. We shared the cheese platter and focaccia bread. Had both types of burgers with salads, chips or fries, the Buddha Bowl, Chicken sandwich and various cocktails. All were excellent! They even brought the birthday girl ice cream with berries and took our photo. Such a great experience.

The rudest owner ever . We accidentally sat down trying to eat at Margaritille. So we where told to leave So we tried to to order something just because thats the rite thing to do. .. you gotta support local business especially in these hard times...but her and Adam rude. Sad that I offered $50 just for a heat lamp
