Wife and I went to the cook house last Sunday 12/8/24 and had great experience there, As we walked in we were greeted by the staff and seated at the bar right away. They had our drinks to us within minutes of sitting down. The owner/waitress came over and took our order very quickly. We were impressed with her, She had a packed house and still was smiling and talking to everyone there. She knows 90% off the customers walking through the door and made it feel like I was apart...
A small and cozy diner type of place. There's not a lot of tables, but there's a bar that you can sit at as well. The food was delicious--definitely recommend the bacon waffle. Such a welcoming little place with a simple menu, which is nice to see.
We ordered the chicken fried steak and the biscuit and gravy specials. Both were delicious. Service was good and our server was super friendly. Cute little diner with a eat at counter… have a cup of coffee and watch your food being made right in front of you! We would eat here again if we were in the area.
