We live above the Capitola Village and decided to have our rehearsal dinner here. They were amazing. We have come here for years to hang out and listen to bands upstairs. They closed the whole restaurant for us and we had the whole inside to ourselves. Amazing! Yummy with a view! A lot of people don’t really know about this spot unless you are a local, since it doesn’t get drive-by traffic and is the only restaurant on the Capitola wharf. We arrived at the Wharf House on a Sunday afternoon about 2:00pm in November, and had our choice of tables with a view. Becca our server quickly became our friend, and she provided excellent service during our first visit. The decor of the restaurant is charmingly nautical. My wife loved the clam chowder that was served in a sour dough bowl, and said it was much better than the clam chowder she had the day before in another Capitola restaurant.
