Amazing donuts. The glazed twists were seriously the best. Fritters were good too. Reminds me of my dad. He would have loved the fritters. Cookies were fire, but it’s pretty tough to screw up a snickerdoodle. Long line, but it moves pretty fast.

We love VG Donuts (and cookies and breads)! Delicious and fun! The kids love to come here. The only downsides are the lack of a public restroom and the parking lot is always busy and a little unsafe. Highly recommend!
The glazed-based donuts are fantastic and should not be missed. The cake donuts are fine, but nothing special. The cookies are overcooked and not worth ordering

My family has been coming to VGs since I was a kid. They have the best donuts around! Prices have gone up significantly and the service at the counter can be a hit or miss but the donuts are always fantastic. Bring Cash! Naturally, we chose them to cater the desserts and cake for our wedding last year and they were fantastic. We had an awesome array of donuts, cookies, brownies, and had the red velvet cake, and marble cake with oreo filling. They were all a hit! I'm so glad I was able to have them as part of our special day. The catering team was great to work with and super responsive, and helpful. They even let you take cake home to try out before ordering, which was super fun! Thanks VGs for being a part of our family for over 40 years and for making our day sweet!

First time here and I will definitely be back! One of the best maple bars I’ve had in San Diego- the donut is fluffy, soft, airy, and overall delightful texture with the perfect amount of maple icing. Just dreamy! The blueberry buttermilk bar was solid for an old-fashioned cake donut. I’ve had better Mexican wedding cookies (they were a little on the dry side). I can’t wait to return and try some more baked goods. Nice selection of donuts, cakes, cookies, cupcakes. And friendly service, too!👌🏼
