The food and drinks were excellent. My biggest complaint is that it took our server over 10 minutes to even come greet us and there was no "sorry for the wait" or "how's your night going" he just asked for our order. Also, the table next to use was sat after us and not only did they get their drinks before the server came, but he also brought them their appetizer too. The heater above was broken apparantly so they brought my girlfriend a blanket which was nice but it was still pretty cold. Again, the food was good so it's kind if a middle rating but really disappointing service, especially for a Valentines day dinner.

Atmosphere is cute BUT the service the night we were there was horrible. We had a reservation and got seated right away and there were plenty of tables available . It took forever to get our beverages. Then we ordered our food and wanted a bottle of wine but asked for a sample of the Pinot noir and the Cabernet. The wine samples came out but not until we were done one eating. Throughout our meal we were never checked in on and our beverages were never refreshed. Our water glasses and cocktails were finished and no one came to check on getting refills. Super disappointed. Hence to say we canceled the bottle of wine when they asked if we wanted dessert. Overpriced food for what you get. 3 scallops for $46. The smallest dish I have ever seen for $46. It should be considered an appetizer, not a main dish. It was tasty but not for that price point. I have always wanted to go here but not sure I'll ever go back based on the service we received and overpriced menu. Super disappointed with everything for the price. My recommendation for this price point and a wonderful atmosphere with spectacular service and food would be the Market restaurant in Rancho Santa Fe off Via de la Valle. Don't waste your money for mediocrisy.

Best food, best service. My favorite way to enjoy this spot is solo at the bar with the Jordans working. They’re both attentive and kind and have a good knowledge of menus. Vibe is unmatched! Get the paquillo peppers and peanut dip with a Caesar salad with shrimp. Thank me later!
