We had to wait 10 min for our reservation but then the hostess gave us our favorite table. Service was amazing. Loved the music. The food is what we came for: started w Duck Meatball, Cesar salad w extra croutons, trout ceviche and shishito peppers. All were amazing! Drinks were great we had whiskey sour and dirty martinis. For the main course we got the wild salmon, lamb chops and Mary's chicken. They are hard to rank but the chicken stole the show: We ended w the Butterscotch pudding! Wow. We will be back soon. Our server, Max was superb. Defintely an asset to the Waverly. I wasn't sure what to expect with the barramundi but it did not disappoint. It was simply delish! One of our favorite dinner rotations in Cardiff!

We do love coming here for the vibe and good, prices are going up and drinks are getting smaller. My wine pour was barely 4 oz for $17. It's getting ridiculous- the bartenders are not looking very excited or happy. Food portion is less. Not sure I'm keeping this place on my rotation. Tired of overpaying with short drinks and small food.

Went for the five-year anniversary paid 165 bucks a person and had to share one plate with four people at my table and no refills on wine when it was a wine dinner??? Value was not there. Food was good service was off.

Went for lunch, my friend had the Caesar Salad, I had the Pork Rice Bowl. Incredible! Our server was prompt, polite and she was overall delightful! Will be back!

This isn't a restaurant I would normally go to just because it's outside of my normal comfort zone, but my CEO dropped me off after work and demanded I try it for dinner. I couldn't be more thankful for that suggestion. The food, the service, everything was as perfect as you could expect for fine dining in Southern California.

This review is really about Max who was our server. We had four kids in tow (one older watching them) and he was so patient/kind. So many times you go out and people can be so offended by the presence of children. He had a great attitude and also was A+ on service.

Great place to hangout and enjoy the decor and service. Food is nice but nothing to write home about. They can plate food well but as for the flavours, well the taste doesn’t meet the expectations set by the plating. Just lacks any depth.
Might go for coffee or something but overall there’s a disconnect between the food vs the decor and service which are great.

Second time at Waverly, I had brunch before and tried dinner this time. I keep coming back because I’m obsessed with the interior, it’s gorgeous! But honestly, the food was a bit underwhelming both times. The margarita was good though.
