The food was really good and we sat outside and had an amazing time with a group of friends. It's in an industrial park and is very large and open inside, and there is some outdoor seating. Go for the food not the ambiance. We were all very happy with the selection of menu items and the quality of the food. Highly recommend.

Had lunch here with my coworker on Friday and my braised rib tortelloni was fantastic. Even my coworkers saffron risotto and braised meat looked very delicious. Service was excellent and was interesting to see so many big parties at lunch in Carlsbad. I would come back again to try the pizza and some other dishes that looked interesting. Good place to catch up over lunch and feel relaxed. I know exactly where this place is. I didn't drive but if you are driving from opposite direction the Google Map directions to get here are somewhat misleading, prepare for extra time for lunch.

Cucina Italiana absolutely nailed it. The tortellini alla crema parmigiana was hands down the best pasta dish I’ve ever had. The cream sauce was rich and perfectly balanced, and the tortellini were cooked flawlessly, with tender, flavorful meat in every single bite. Every petite bite was outstanding. I went early and the service was fantastic as well. An easy five stars.

What a fun surprise!! We flew into Palomar expecting to eat at Landings but they closed early so we walked across the street to this fabulous restaurant! Authentic delicious Italian food and excellent service. Can’t wait to go back!! Although I have a gluten allergy they had delicious gluten free items I loved!

The food was good but the prices extremely high. They found ways to up charge you on things like bread and butter. There are many other Italian restaurants in the area that have great good for half the price. Probably will not come back.

Must try the homemade pasta; incredibly delicious! Portions are hearty so split the add on salad (highly recommend the one with pears). Service is basic but honestly the food is so good and the atmosphere so pleasant that you just don't care.

This is a hidden gem! Owned by Italians from Bologna (food Capital of Italy), it is some of the best authentic Italian I have had in the States. I lived in Italy for 2 years and am always looking for Italian food that isn't America-ized. Great kids menu too. Benedetta was our waitress and was so helpful and friendly. We spoke a bunch in Italian and she had great recommendations. We got the Balanzoni Pasticciati and Garganelli di Guanciale (seasonal pasta). Our 4 year old got an amazing pesto pasta. All were phenomenal!

I ordered the Pollo ai porcini and it's flavor was as if they boiled the chicken and added a chicken consume with mushrooms and garlic. Never tasted the wine. The asparagus was flavorful as well as the mashed potatoes.
