Fantastic pasta, very pleasant service. It's nearly 30 minutes away and totally worth the drive!! We've always gone for lunch and had no problem getting a table; I don't know about dinner time.

Giving 3 stars mostly because some of the dishes we ordered were a bit greasy. The other reason being that the server barely checked on us. The only real awesome thing was champagne we got on the house when we arrived.

Such a great experience, even without a reservation. The waiter was so kind and also humorous. Food was incredibly, even said so by the native Sicilian I was with.

Food was good not fantastic, service was slow and the atmosphere is sorta like eating in a large cafeteria.

Wow! Stopped with a craving for Italian food. The Tortellini I order would not have even filled my 8 oz. cereal bowl. And it cost $27. After I sat down a service person asked if I wanted bread. I said yes. Who doesn't eat bread with Italian? The bill comes and the bread cost an extra $2.50!! I've never been to an Italian restaurant that charges extra for bread. What a waste. Being there alone, I only ate one piece. They could inform you it's extra when they casually ask if you'd like some bread.
Food was ok. But I won't be back. It's wasn't that good and was outrageously expensive for bread and a cup of Tortellini. A price of bread, water and a cup of Tortellini for more than $30. And then add in the tip.
Now I'll go home and get something form my cupboards to equal a complete meal!

This place is so unexpectedly wonderful. You would never think of such a great restaurant in the back of an industrial park but it is hands down the best Italian food I've ever had in San Diego. The building is spacious, ( I hate when you're in a restaurant where you can't even push your chair out without hitting someone at another table) lots of room between you and other diners. The wait staff is superb and the head waiter, with his accent!! He's a sight for sore eyes! The food is absolutely amazing from the bread, apps and main courses. The portion sizes are appropriate, not like when you go to most Italian places that just put way too much food on your plate. It's my favorite places to go! If you love Italian ❤️ you must try this wonderful restaurant. 😊

We came here for dinner and the outdoor ambience was beautiful with lights and there were plenty of heaters to keep us warm.

We got started on bread and polenta for appetizers. The bread was warm and it came with a nice herb butter. The polenta tasted alright, but wasn't fan of the cheese sauce. The polenta was crispy and soft. For entrees we got Mushroom pasta and their specials lamb rack with risotto. The pasta was delicious with perfect bite to it. The creamy mushroom sauce was tasty. The lamb was a bit disappointing, it was a little tough and the risotto wasn't cooked well.

The absolute best Italian in Southern California. Don’t be fooled that it’s in the old Hughes Aero building, that makes it unique, culturally relevant to the area, and a great reuse of existing space.

Every bit the best Italian I’ve had in the states. A must visit.

Just got back from Italy and oh my God I can’t rave enough about this restaurant. I mean I have been here several times and never wrote a review but I just feel like this time I’m gonna do it. The food is just so good. It just took me right back to Italy. Everybody is nicer than the next. I love it that it’s quirky and has a atrium Tables, but they also have a nice beautiful outside area.

incredible restaurant for all the reasons! Had the fennel orange salad and pesto gnocchi, bread and butter and a sauvignon blanc.... perfetto! My only problem is that I can't believe I didn't know about this place sooner!
