We had to wait an HOUR past our reservation time. I understand that some delays but that was excessive and just bad customer service. Management should either plan reservations better, hire more people, or at least have the courtesy to notify those who made reservations about the delay in advance. Instead, we got a notification 10 minutes before our reservation that the table was ready! The food and experience ended up meeting expectations, but as much as we pay to eat there,...

We had the best time at Benihana’s in Carlsbad, CA. Our server Kaylin was so friendly and gave us wonderful service. The Benihana chef Trevor was fantastic, had us laughing with his great sense of humor, the food he made was delicious and cooked exactly how we wanted. Looking forward to going back soon!!!
