Takes over 20 min to get a coffee. Workers just stare when you walk in. Coffee always cold and the lids come off too

I love Bird Rock beans (order them online sometimes). But the Honey B iced latte here was mid (tasted watered down and not enough syrup). And not sure why the prices in the Carlsbad suburbs are higher than nice coffee shops in LA.Finally, most of the employees seemed like they hated their lives.

I've been to the La Jolla location and enjoyed myself so I stopped in today to grab some coffee to ship out for gifts today. It was busy but the line moved quickly. I bought three bags of coffee (ka ching) and a breakfast skillet bowl to share with my two toddlers. Once our to go food was ready, I walk up to the counter with my baby in my arms. I grab a couple of napkins but then have to ask for forks and a bag while dodging other patrons waiting on their coffee and food. Not great. There is a nice spot to sit out front, though apparently it was wild of me to think they would have wiped the tables dry more than 3 hours after they'd open. The potatoes were undercooked, as were the eggs (over easy, whites left soupy) with two scrawny pieces of crispy (yay!) Bacon and a weird pile of shredded cheese in the corner of the box. I won't be back to this location. At least the La Jolla staff smiled and made eye contact.

Small but cute. Lots of outside seating. Drinks were good.

I throughly enjoy this establishment, the barista Kit provided superb service the bird and the rock were expertly shown in the latte art in the same way that an interpretive dance expresses the deepest emotions of one’s soul. Speaking of soulful the barista (Kit) gave a riveting reaccountment of how they acquired their fabulous jewelry that left us in tears. It was most fabulous and I shall most certainly be coming back with a smile creeping upon my face.

If you haven't gone yet...run and get the most fun and adorable holiday cup out there!! Even better it contains the oh so yummy return of the Stroop Waffle latte!!! Ya know this girl loves her add shot but, you still get the sweet gooey goodness and the cinnamon of the latte. Aiden, and Sierra were rocking the bar and Giana was on milk! Talk about the "A" team. It was a busy rainy Saturday and it was hopping. Even for how busy it was it still had the nice chill vibe I always appreciate. Tried the Greek yogurt, house-made granola, fresh berries and honey. Wow!! Perfect balance of sweet and tart, so filling and that granola I could eat by the truckload!!I will be coming back for another delicious, perfect latte in a holiday cup!! It's so unique and fun! I love the artwork and certainly will not spark any holiday cup wars!!

Coffee is already a popular cafe for us. Coffee beans are good and I want to talk about syrup this time. I bought this syrup with sandpier's name, made coffee at home, put oat milk in it and drank it iced..This is really delicious. I think this place is good for making syrup as well as coffee beans.. It really does upgrade the coffee.

I got the pumpkin spice latte - hot and it was delicious, a perfect amount of spice, and so creamy! My husband got the dark chocolate mocha and it was good but not great, middle of the road in terms of mochas. The location has indoor and outdoor seating and Saturday mornings get quite crowded with couples and families. Overall it was a great vibe and great coffee so I'd come again.

Great location for a coffee shop! The seasonal decorations are a nice touch. Staff was super friendly as well. Coffee tasted fantastic since they didn't over roast the beans.

I need coffee and Bird Rock was near by so I stopped. The shop itself was very cute and hip. Love the vibes. I ordered the dirty chai and the honey b latte. Both drinks were extremely watered down. I like my lattes to have a creaminess to it. Despite getting oatmilk in my dirty chai and whole milk in my honey b latte both drinks tasted like a latte with melted ice. My dirty chai had a very strong star anise aroma (felt like I was drinking pho broth) and the honey b latte was so bland.

Let me just start by saying, if you read any negative reviews about this place, stop right there This is the only review you need to read. Serving and slaying is what's going down at Bird Rock. This fine establishment has top tier coffee, crafted with love Their coffee will have you barking for more. Literally foaming at the mouth and salivating just thinking about it Their breakfast burrito goes crazy first burrito i've had in awhile that didn't make me shart myself. Their patio seating is divine. I can bask in the sun while I sip my latte What's better than that???? Overall, I always have a 10/10 experience while i'm here. OH AND ONE LAST THING, make sure to try their single origin espresso it's always dialed in just right and delicious. I LOVE YOU BIRD ROCK ‍
