I love breakfast and with so many options in Carlsbad, Cafe Elysa is one you should skip. The coffee has a strange aftertaste, the fruit was not ripe and tasteless and the omelets were unexciting. There was also a problem with our order. Good points are the outdoor seating and friendly service.

This is mainly for their amazing pastries! Not only are the huge and beautiful to look at but the taste is wonderful!! Their price is reasonable compared to many other coffee shops or cafes around. I got the Nutella croissant and it was heaven! Will be frequenting more for sure!!!
