Carlsbad French Pastry Cafe - Bressi Ranch

Fantastic bakery, the baker is French and he uses French ingredients. The food is amazing. If you want a great treat, breakfast or lunch I highly recommend them. Service is excellent as well.

Top quality all around - the pastry, the coffee. Probably the best croissants i've ever had.

The food is amazing (orange, vanilla custard, Grand Marnier crepes 😮), coffee is delicious and bottomless. Has indoor & outdoor space with a giant fire pit. Staff & owner are awesome. Excited to have a new favorite spot! A must visit! It is no longer at Carlsbad Village, it is now at 6021Innovation Way (next to Eureka restaurant) in Bressi Ranch.

Stopped in for a cappuccino and beignets - so tasty, friendly service, and fun ambiance!

Perfect Birthday Cake! We got a birthday cake from here and it was exactly what we wanted. It was incredibly fresh, light, and had the perfect level of sweetness—not too sugary at all. You can tell they use quality ingredients. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

It was the first time we were in this place. We really enjoyed the food, coffee and service. Desserts are as delicious as they are beautiful

A fantastic hidden gem. Buttery croissants, great sandwiches and a case full of pastries! Friendly, and adaptable, service. We will certainly be regulars now that we know it's there! Sounds like they are petitioning the city to get a small permanent sign, but for now look for the sandwich boards on Palomar Airport and Innovation Way.

Got an apricot pastry, iced latte, and quiche plate for under $30. There's a fire pit outside too! Nice place and will be coming back to try out the other pastries.

I was extremely upset and frustrated that the City decided to move forward with the demolition of the shopping center that the original bakery restaurant is located in Carlsbad Village. I was then excited to find out that the owners opened up this new location. Although it isn't in the village and in Bressi Ranch area, it is the same amazing baked goods and food that the original place serves. The biggest difference, however, is the new location is absolutely beautiful. It is quite modern in the interior decor and the best part, they have a beautiful outdoor seating area with a great fire pit!

The one thing I will say in parting... If you want and real, proper cappuccino that has the perfect head of froth, this is the place to go. None of the other places I go to in Carlsbad know how to make one. They basically serve a latte that they pass off as a cappuccino.

Awesome Breakfast find!! My sisters and I celebrated our Mom’s 98th bday here. The chicken avocado omelette and the breakfast croissant were super delicious!! But the fresh chocolate mousse cake was absolutely the BEST! The service was outstanding, the ambiance is nice and the French pastry case is mouth-watering!! Highly recommend coming to Carlsbad’s new location for the French Pastry Cafe in Bressi Ranch!!

This is our go-to place for birthday cakes and special pastries. We love their Chocolate Mousse Cake with and without strawberries. And their Spinach Feta pastries make an incredible breakfast or snack. Haven't picked a bad individual pastry or fruit tart either. We like to get an assortment and cut them into several pieces so everyone can try a bite of each type!

They also have a lovely patio area with a fire pit. It's a nice place to get a coffee and a quick bite in the morning.
