We stayed at the hotel this restaurant in located in and had multiple meals here. Some were good, some were ok, some we had to send back to the kitchen because they were so bad. All of the waitstaff were incredibly friendly and attentive but the rest of the staff was down right rude. We had multiple experiences with a rude hostess, bartender and even the manager was very unfriendly when we sent the rubbery and burnt kids pancakes back to the kitchen. The service was impeccable, and the food was great
Chandler’s Carlsbad is a laid back relaxing place to have a romantic meal with your significant other or with family and friends! Friendly and attentive staff, great food and a great selection from the bar! All with beautiful views of that blue Pacific Ocean…. I highly recommend this place!

Chandler's Oceanfront Dining offers a wonderful dining experience with friendly staff and good food. The sunset view adds to the ambiance for a nice evening out. The crab cakes are full of crab, and the Caesar salad and snapper tacos are highly recommended. The restaurant's bar and interior are very pretty, making it a great place for dinner. Guests often enjoy the view of the ocean and the sunset while dining. The food is generally good. Service is friendly and attentive. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The chicken sandwich and breakfast platter were very good. The raw fish dish was not good, but the tender pieces had very little flavor. A complimentary birthday cake was delicious. The proximity to the beach provides beautiful ocean views. The bread with truffle butter was fantastic, and the chocolate peanut butter dessert was magnificent. Steak was cooked as ordered, and the balance of the meal was excellent.
