Always loved the location in Encinitas, real bummer it closed down, however this location is exactly the same as. Great selection of fresh food, well thought out decor (always look for the black and white awnings!) and most importantly clean. Yes it gets busy and yes it's not always going to be staffed enough to keep up with every rush, but it's manageable and done with a smile to the best of their abilities and that's all you can ask for.P. S. I ordered the Uptown Turkey and Avocado and got a Chicken Pesto, best mistake!

I have visited this place with my wife for more than 10 years, this morning like many Sundays we went at 9am to have breakfast, it was one of the worst breakfasts I had there, there was no coffee, the bacon seemed like plastic, it was a terrible breakfast, no I know what is happening, several times I have noticed that they have lost their quality in breakfast

What a terrible experience. The employees treated us like they didn't want to be there. We ordered a bagel as it was (not toasted nor any topping) and they came out and told us they couldn't provide it since it was frozen. When we asked for a refund on said bagel they thought we were crazy. I would only ever return for baked goods to-go.
I had time to kill while my car got serviced and was starving... so I gave corner bakery a shot. The food seemed really expensive but the breakfast wrap was reasonably priced ($8.50ish), so I ordered it with a drink. I was craving a wrap and this hit the spot but it's wasn't the best thing I've ever had. Decent for a chain restaurant. Pretty basic (eggs, cheese, avo and spinach) but nicely balanced. Giving it 3 stars because the inside was dreary and kind of messy. The service was fine but nothing to write home about. I'd come back here if I was in a pickle but not going to go out of my way to eat here again.

Well the coffee is good. This location is across the street from the Carlsbad Outlet Mall. It is busy. But the food we had, the Breakfast Croissant, seemed microwaved. The croissant was chewy, doughy, but it should have been flakey. With a name like "Corner bakery," one would expect the breads to be exceptionally perfect.The cinnamon roll was excellent.

Legit stood there at the front desk as the workers talked to each other. When she finally came the attitude was atrocious. Won't be returning, get yourself some workers who don't act like I'm inconveniencing them for a muffin.
