Dropped in on Christmas for dinner without a reservation and the place was packed! But they had a little table for us immediately. My wife loved the grilled salmon salad and the prime rib was the best I’ve had in a long time! We split a clam chowder bread bowl (so good!). Staff was friendly and we had a great time!

Everything was good! Charlee the waitress took very good care of us. She was on point with everything. The only thing that I didn't like was that when I was drinking out of my wine glass and water glass, it smelled like raw egg or dirty rag. I would suggest a better dry out with the cups.

We both ended up finding and choosing the same thing... Stuffed avocado. Super A1C friendly and absolutely delicious. My favorite meal of the whole trip. I added a side of seasonal vegetables that was massively overpriced but fresh crunchy and not overcooked.
Good specials. Make sure they end up on your tab though

Food; came out cold. Ordered halibut x 2 ...which was very dry, $45. Took couple of bites thinking may be better, NOT. Veggies and rice were cold. We ordered appetizer of oysters Rockefeller and asked for them first, this came out after all meals were on the table. When complained about halibut, was told they could make another of same dish which I declined. No offer was made to take off bill. Other guests complained and another young lady, waitress, jumped into the conversation very rudely. No one had name tags. They were very rude after the complaint, no manager came to table. They did take one halibut entry off bill. Absolutely the worst place in Carlsbad after visiting every year for the last 4 years. Won't go back or recommend to anyone.

Great spot may Return saw a small Cockroach 🪳 on the wall otherwise would have gotten 5 stars also machaca is very Americanized cooked in tomato sauce paste not good and tortillas were cold straight out of package from vons. Salmon omelette was great. Complimentary bread and butter was nice
