We both ended up finding and choosing the same thing... Stuffed avocado. Super A1C friendly and absolutely delicious. My favorite meal of the whole trip. I added a side of seasonal vegetables that was massively overpriced but fresh crunchy and not overcooked.

Food; came out cold. Ordered halibut x 2 ...which was very dry, $45. Took couple of bites thinking may be better, NOT. Veggies and rice were cold. We ordered appetizer of oysters Rockefeller and asked for them first, this came out after all meals were on the table. When complained about halibut, was told they could make another of same dish which I declined. No offer was made to take off bill. Other guests complained and another young lady, waitress, jumped into the conversation very rudely. No one had name tags. They were very rude after the complaint, no manager came to table. They did take one halibut entry off bill. Absolutely the worst place in Carlsbad after visiting every year for the last 4 years. Won't go back or recommend to anyone.

Great spot may Return saw a small Cockroach 🪳 on the wall otherwise would have gotten 5 stars also machaca is very Americanized cooked in tomato sauce paste not good and tortillas were cold straight out of package from vons. Salmon omelette was great. Complimentary bread and butter was nice

Horrible experience. We moved tables to avoid the direct sunlight and in doing so the waitress never brought out 2 orders of food because she said that happens when you switch tables. Didn’t handle it well at all. You don’t lose customers from making a mistake you lose customers on how you handle the mistake. Ruined what was supposed to be a special lunch.
Excellent experience!! We come here every time we are in Carlsbad. Be sure to eat on the patio during the sunset. AMAZING!!! Our server, Marisol, was friendly and attentive. She was wonderful!!!. The food was spectacular!!!

Food was delicious, service was good, I was having a great experience until I found a piece of plastic in my food. Waiter tried to make it better by discounting food item off check and giving us free dessert, however, this just completely ruined it for me. I will not be coming back.
