The food was just mediocre, but it was overpriced and it took way too long, especially considering there wasn't a huge crowd of people. There's no reason why an appetizer and two lasagnas should have taken 45 minutes to come out.
Meatballs were good. Caesar salad was good. Minestrone soup was good, but needed a protein in it.
The food and service were excellent. A member of the party commented that they didn't see the lunch portion of the spaghetti and meatballs on the menu. While we reviewed the menu further the wait staff returned and stated that the chef would be willing to make the lunch portion. It was incredibly kind as we did not ask and it was offered.
Staff is great, food is good and consistent. A little loud when they have music on the patio so check before you go if that's an issue for you
We had a super evening and Lindsey the manager made us feel very special. She suggested a fish dish for myself as I don't eat meat and a chicken dish for my partner. The staff were very busy but didn't lack on the service or attention that was given to us on our last night in the USA.
I would advise anyone to go there and they will be guaranteed a memorable evening absolutely brilliant especially at happy hour 😀

No one was at the Hostess station when we entered. The Hostess was nearby and turned to say she'd be there in a minute. She left the room and never came back. One of the two waiters seated us after clearing a table. Weekday occupancy was sparse. Our waiter was accommodating. The food was fair not great. The spaghetti dish was watery, lasagna seemed old. We appreciate Giaola provides a platform for live local musicians. Unfortunately our dining experience did not live up previous visits.
We have not tasted Italian food so good since we were in Italy! So pleased to find this restaurant!
This was our first time and we went for a restaurant week. The menu was outstanding. Everything was delicious and loved by everyone. Three of us went and ordered something different for every course except dessert. Everyone left with happy tummies and leftovers.
Ryan and boris are big W servers and the tiramisu is to die for
The food here is always great, and the staff is friendly, but I really wish the live music wasn't so loud! When I go out to eat with friends and family, I want to be able to have a conversation without having to shout. Even sitting indoors it's so loud I can't hear the people at my table!

Took very long to get service. Had to call manager to get our drinks after 10 minutes - and to order dinner. The restaurant was virtually empty so no excuse. Food was average. Calamari should not be ordered - probably frozen and over cooked. Bread was good and warm. Goat cheese with fig and walnuts was very good. Would not go back. Tons of better Italian restaurants even in Bressi Ranch.
Really pretty patio. Food was ok. Brussel sprouts were pretty good. Chicken piccata was soggy and noodles were gummy or hard in places. Bolognese was ok. Service was really good
The food at Giaola was delicious and the portions were large. We took advantage of the happy hour menu and really enjoyed our experience.
We sent back the pasta primavera dish TWICE, because it was cold. Once we got a hot serving, it was delicious. The rest of our food (4 people) was very good. At the next table (2 people), they also sent back some food.
We are out of town people who wanted a good date night and this delivered. The food top notch the bread ironically in particular 👌. *seems like its made in house. The pasta had a good chew which the wife and I love. If I could do 3.75 stars for service I would our poor waitress was having to run the entire outside basically on her own and she was great but really maybe needed one more to split it as inside was basically empty (they had live music going outside which is why many wanted to be)
