Fantastic service - so friendly and funny too. Excellent fish tacos and clam chowder. Not an amazing view but you're outside, you're in southern California and the living is good.

We’ve been coming to this place since the 90s. We get the fish and chips every single time with a little bit of vinegar. Their clam chatter is outstanding as well. This is a staple if you come to the beach here in Carlsbad, you gotta grab yourself a couple planks. And then rented a boogie board next-door.

Great oceanfront location. Small, not fancy, just great fish and shrimp. HUGE fish taco. I enjoyed the grilled fish taco but could not finish. Great white sauce, onions and cabbage accompaniments. My daughter had batter dipped jumbo shrimp. Very jumbo and cooked perfectly. We were here 24 years ago & recently again visited Carlsbad. Still great eats. Not fancy but GREAT food. Swap fries for clam chowder. You won’t regret.

This was all it was expected to be. Went with family that likes fried fish and fries. Too greasy for me. I had a regular salad and a sourdough toast. Both were fine.

Dog friendly place on the beach. Seats overlooking the beach are busy before sunset, so come early if that's what you want. Portions are large. The fish taco is almost the size of a burrito and plenty of fries to share. We had the fish and chips as well.
The grilled fish taco is a little bland without adding any sauce.
The Harbor Fish beer goes great with their fish and chips and malt vinegar available at every table.

We were a group of 6...3 enjoyed spicy fish tacos...3 ordered shrimp or clams. Poor quality. Along the lines of Mrs Paul's fish sticks. It's outdoor only and it was quite windy and cold as we were seated in front of the back alley. Would not recommend this restaurant. There are far nicer

First off, I think the location is really great. Near the ocean. Food is good, but the drink situation isn’t amazing. A small soda is overpriced and you don’t get any refills. It was alright. 🐟

Very charming restaurant on the beach, not directly but about 100 feet away - all fish except for one burger and they do have a vegan option, not sure y you would go there for that - everything is fried, so be prepared - the fish is very fresh and the portions are large - very casual with a friendly staff and good prices - I would highly recommend this restaurant, oh they so have specials almost each day of the week

The fish and chips are the best I've had in a long time. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. The only down side was i couldn't get a booster seat for my 8 month old cause it would block the flow of foot traffic which I get but still a little bummed. Will come agian.
