Lucha Libre was one of my first burrito experiences in San Diego, holding one of my fondest Mexican cuisine experiences. I was ecstatic to see it in Carlsbad. I ordered the winning burrito, and it arrived in my table within ten minutes. The first bite marked the disappointment for the remainder of the night. So much tortilla. So little flavor. Wow - this place really surprised me. Was not expecting to have such a great meal. Food is high quality, and service is also fantastic! (Shout out to Diego for helping me order the right stuff!)
I had the Birria Taco. It was very good and we upgraded to make a meal that included two sides and a drink. They serve taco chips which are very good, too. Good gluten free options. Very casual but the food is top-notch. Try the sauces/salsas!
