I have been here three times, once at night for drinks, once for lunch take out, and once to dine in for lunch. Overall the food is alright so far, I would like to try other things. The service each time I have gone was very slow especially the last time.I ordered the Pollo Borracho the last time which was grilled chicken breast sautéed with tequila lime served over flour tortilla with pepper jack and sautéed onions & peppers. It was a larger portion so I had some to take home which was nice. My food was good, but for a lunch break it's better to pick up or go later in the night when you aren't as worried about the time.The night scene is more fun than lunch time atmosphere sitting outside with friends.

WE LOVE CANTINA!!! McClen is the best bouncer ever!!! He made me and my whole group feel so safe and welcomed the whole night!! He even took a video for us Rooster Racing!!!!!
This is for breakfast pancakes only!They truly suck..... Thanks for the discount. I never saw pancakes fall apart like that. It's usually awake a sponge. I think they forgot the eggs. Maybe the cook went out drinking last night.

First time being in carlsbad, we walked the village and wanted to find a nice place to enjoy outside with some snacks. We ordered a beer and an appetizer.The waitress was very inattentive from the start. She brought the wrong beer, but it took her so long to come back out that my bf decided to just drink it.Ordered an appetizer, took a few bites and found a piece of hair. We didn't ask a replacement or comp. We just wanted to leave.Waitress drops off the check and never came back out for another 20 minutes.Finally, I got so upset with this service that I took the payment inside. Glad that I did because the waitress looked like she had no intentions on coming back out during her shift.
