Found Nick’s by chance the nite we flew in and went back 2 more times before we left. Great food, the steaks were cooked perfect. Priced fair for today’s times. Great friendly wait staff. I recommend if you’re in Carlsbad it’s a must stop. Enjoy!!

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary her with an early dinner. It was a wonderful experience! The staff was so welcoming with flowers, a card signed by them and cake too. The food was excellent as always.Thank you to everyone who made us feel so special.

Great food. A bit limited menu. Excellent butter cake for dessert. Service is always excellent. Can be a little noisy. Street parking only.
So we went in yesterday (07/15) at 4:40pm. Happy originally that it wasn't slammed. The hostest was snarky and even though there were several other open 2-top tables. Sat us at the both where the kitchen doors were. I pointed at the booth next to that one (and away from the kitchen) she just gave me a look and went ahead and directed us to the kitchen door booth. IT WAS AWFUL. We couldn't talk with the constant in and out of the swinging door. I was super upset as the atmosphere was TOTALLY RUINED. Servers Coby (Cody) was awesome. Food just as yummy as ever. BUT TAKE THAT BOOTH AWAY - and DON'T SEAT FOLKS THERE WHEN THERE ARE OTHER OPTIONS. So so super annoyed and disappointed.

Great service! Good food. If you go here, leave room for dessert and get the butter cake. It's amazing. Lemon cake was just ok for us. Had fried chicken, burger and prime rib sandwich, all were good.
