We love the food and variety at Nick's on State! The restaurant was very busy and they were short staffed but our server did an awesome job and the whole restaurant seemed to pitch in to make sure every table was getting good service. We can't wait to go back!

Our favorite restaurant!! We always come here for special occasions and the food always amazes us! Everything is so delicious, the best you'll ever have! The chef is exceptional! Always different vegetables as sides to my favorite fish sandwich, and they are always amazing and perfect. Unbelievable!!

We had not been to Nicks on State for several months. We were not aware that across from the restaurant a band now plays at an outside venue on the weekends. The six of us sat outside at Nicks and the loud music made it difficult to carry on a conversation.

Found Nick’s by chance the nite we flew in and went back 2 more times before we left. Great food, the steaks were cooked perfect. Priced fair for today’s times. Great friendly wait staff. I recommend if you’re in Carlsbad it’s a must stop. Enjoy!!
