Switched from being a regular Starbucks to Peet's fairly recently. Overall Peet's has been much better. However, I do have 2 complaints that bring it down 2 stars (at least at this location).I prefer iced coffees, but the straws here have literally ruined the experience for me at times. This location uses paper straws that are so flimsy that not only do they dissolve into your drink after 10 minutes, they break in half when put into the lid. I understand that the change to paper straws was to be more environmentally conscious, but there are more reliable materials to make environmentally-friendly straws. There are recyclable ones that look and feel like traditional plastic, but there are also pasta straws that hold up very well and are biodegradable.The second complaint is that Peet's charges for milk alternatives. It's 2024, are we really charging extra for dairy alternatives that are the rule rather the exception in California?An improvement to either of these issues would raise my overall score by a star each.
Where to begin.. Parking is almost non-existent here, good luck! The food is always bland here, even Starbucks is better honestly. The coffee is a step above Starbucks but not by much and they lack a nitro coffee on the menu to this day. The time it takes to receive your order often feels too long considering it's never very busy here. They have paper straws but plastic lids, it's so dumb. Just make plastic lids you can drink out of like Starbucks has. They don't have a Sriracha sauce or any sort of sauce for hot breakfast sandwiches that desperately need them. They used to have Cholula sauce but no more! I find myself going here and then I end up going to Starbucks anyway to get a straw that doesn't disintegrate and a Sriracha sauce packet, making me question why I came here in the first place, I guess for the coffee that's slightly better. Overall I would say avoid this location and Peet's Coffee in general as it's gone downhill.

I came here right before work to order a coffee. I got a cold brew with condensed milk. I thought my drink would come out quickly because cold brews are typically pre-brewed. Instead, it took 15 minutes to get my cold brew. Luckily the drink tasted good, but it's not worth waiting for 15 minutes. I will add that it was busy, so I guess I should have expected a little bit of a wait. I probably won't come here that often.

Bring your own syrup and your own hot sauce. Peets doesn’t have either. This morning I ordered chicken and waffle. I asked for syrup they don’t have any. I had to stop someplace else and buy Syrup . The other morning I stopped and purchased a breakfast burrito. I asked for hot sauce. They don’t have any. If you’re going to make ethnic food you have to include all the condiments to go with it. Do you want french fries without ketchup?Come on Peet’s do better!!!

I would say this place is ok. I came recently after not having been in a while. Prices are up and quality and service is not what I remember. Parking is very bad as it is right by Trader Joe’s.
Love my chai latte here. Great atmosphere. Large outdoor patio seating that is shaded.

Best cup of coffee in SoCal, hands down. This is the guy who invented Starbucks, and got ripped off by the guy who started it. Clearly here and shoulders above the rest/ major Dick Asian and the Espresso Forte are top of the chain and top of the game

I've been having a very rough week and my friend asked the barista if they could put an American Dad joke on my cup to brighten my day. While they don't have stickers to do this, the barista passed it to him and whispered "Ricky Spanish..." Best thing to happen to us in a coffee shop. Coffee is also amazing.

Order brown sugar cold brew Oatmilk with jelly but they told me no jelly and still got charged over $7The black tie was really bad however the barista Kathryn remade it with some half and half and it was way better - she wa pleasant and helpful she brought this up to 4
