They ran out of normal crust so we had to order the gluten free crust but they made us pay extra for the gluten free crust. Tables we're never cleared after eating, order numbers never collected after foods delivered. Pizza is okay. Unfortunately this is one of the only fast casual restaurants in north country to use my AMEX credit at.

Pitfire pizza SUCKS!! I went to Pitfire with my aunt and mother. We were looking for a good pizza in Encinitas. Unfortunately, we didn't find it!! Pitfire truly disappoints! The staff sucks!! It took the bartender 5 minutes to acknowledge us and another 5 minutes to take our order. We were NOT impressed! Our pizza barely had any sauce, cheese, or toppings and the salad was mediocre at best. Lastly, one of the bartenders fixed her pink hair IN the bar and IN the kitchen!! Gross!! Please do better Pitfire!!

First time dining here. With around 10 customers in the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon, we were served cold pizzas and cold pasta. The staff was rude when I said “the pizzas were sitting over there for more than 5 minutes”. He asked “do you want me to refire them” with an attitude and I said “no” since I didn’t want to waste food and also didn’t know how the refired ones were going to come out. I’m giving 3 stars for the kitchen staff. Very disappointing experience.

It was our first time here, and we had a fantastic evening! We sat at the bar and were lucky to have Pam as our server. She was attentive, friendly, and made navigating the menu a breeze. The food was outstanding, and Pam’s great service made the experience even better. We’re already looking forward to coming back and sitting in her section again!
I waited 1 hour for an average pizza, and the guys at the front weren't very helpful. I asked multiple times for my order status, and none of them could tell. It's not worth the time, any 7 eleven pizza beats this one 👎

Came here to try the honey bear pizza everyone raves about. While it was ok, even good, it just was lacking more flavor besides sweet. I was hoping for more of a honey hot pizza flavor than just straight honey. However the other pizzas we had with traditional red sauce were amazing! The crust is so different, it’s just delicious! I would definitely come back for an original flavored pizza again.

We really like Pitfire Pizza — the food is great when it’s right, and the atmosphere and drinks are always on point. The staff is friendly and they always fix any mistakes, which we really appreciate. The reason for 3 stars is the kitchen consistency: a few times now our pizza has been burnt, forgotten in the oven, or missing toppings, so we’ve had to wait around while they remake it. When it finally comes out, it’s fantastic — but it shouldn’t be such a gamble. We’ll definitely keep coming back, but really hope they tighten up the kitchen side so the experience matches the quality of the food.
