I recently dined at Pitfire Pizza in Carlsbad, and overall, it was a solid experience. The food is decent, and the atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, but there were a few things that could have been better.
Tasty Pizza, but Long Wait Time The pizza itself was quite good! I ordered a simple cheese pizza, and while the flavor was great, waiting 40 minutes for it was a bit too long, especially for something so basic. If you're not in a rush, the food is worth it, but the slow service is something to keep in mind.
Delicious Cocktails, but Small for the Price I also tried one of their cocktails, which was well-crafted and flavorful. However, the portion size was disappointing for the price. I expected something a bit more substantial given how much they charge. While the taste was excellent, I couldn't help but feel like I was paying more for presentation than quantity.
Great Atmosphere and Friendly Staff On the plus side, the vibe at Pitfire is fun and casual, perfect for a relaxed night out. The staff was friendly and attentive, which definitely helped make up for the long wait time.
Final Thoughts Overall, Pitfire Pizza is a nice spot for decent pizza and great drinks, but be prepared for a longer wait and smaller cocktails than you might expect. Still, the food and atmosphere make it worth a visit if you're not in a hurry!

We went there at closing time and we understand that but the service was awful, starting that you don't have any server our server was the bartender we ordered at the bar, I would say that the pizza was one of the best that I ever had fresh and really tasty and the crust really crunchy the pasta on the other hand was way too salty one of them was extremely salty we could not eat it the server or the bartender in this case never came to ask how the food was or any of the employees

Nice pizza overall. I recommend you try it once. The toppings are fresh, and the location is welcoming. Friendly staff. Most pizza's are around 20 bucks, which is a good deal for the size you get. My only personal critique is that the dough, while delicious in flavor, is quite dense and filling, with a small crumb. It's also soft and squishy, when I prefer crunchy. But hey, most people don't eat the crust anyway, so have at it!!
