Poki Poki Carlsbad - Boba & Brewski

So glad to find Poki Poki has a location in Carlsbad. I was trudging out to the Oceanside locations for my poke fix, but this is much closer. The food is just as delicious as the other locations.

I always get the seared ahi as one of my proteins, which comes in thick wedges. The servings are generous, a regular size bowl is easily two meals for me. The staff here is friendly, the fish is fresh, the location is right across the street from the beach, and they serve beer here too. What's not to love?

Usually love this spot..but the service was lackluster & I am almost positive one of the staff members cused me out while we were both trying to find parking in their lot out front lol. So not a great impression, still went for my poke. It was good but I won't be back for a while.

I have never had poki before. Visiting from Germany I had a friend take me there. Makayla served me and I asked for her dealer's choice - she did a great job. Went out to sit by the beach to eat the food. Thank you very much for this delicious meal by the ocean!

The portion size was great but the rice was unseasoned and the flavor was average. My main issue was when I went to use the restroom, who I assume, the owner kept pulling on the door then glared at me when I finished using it. She also stared me down while I waited outside for a friend. It was a very uncomfortable experience.
