A dreamy coastal date-night kind of spot where the oysters are fresh, the chardonnay is Cakebread, and the seafood is as gorgeous as it is flavorful. The ceviche could’ve used more chips (and a bowl, please!), but the smoky crudo and grilled octopus more than made up for it. Finished with warm churro rolls and dipping sauces that felt like a hug. Fancy without being stuffy. I’ll be back—with a date or a dinner-worthy client.
Great for breakfast buffet! Absolutely delicious!
Food was 5 stars. Service was one star by the primary waiter, and 2-3 by his second. Main server came 3 times the whole night. Took the app order, waited until they were completely done before coming back and then we did the main order and never came to our table the entire time dinner was on the table until it had been cleared. No one made sure water cups were full. Had to ask after 10-15 minutes after being empty. Didn’t remove empty dishes or empty cocktail glasses for quite some time, or until asked. Had to ask multiple times for table to be wiped or water filled before getting it. Empty tables directly to the right and left of us were dirty from before we sat down to after we left. Ordered drinks before main entree (from a guy we flagged down), one came out in the middle, the other after the main was fully eaten. Would return for the food, hoping the service gets fixed. Oh, and the restaurant was 1/3 full… so they weren’t slammed.
The service was fantastic. However dining here several times during my stay this June, the food quality has gone down. We had dinner here and my seabass was still pink. This was after waiting for over an hour.
Also came for breakfast and waited over an hour for food. They clearly need more staff. I have never waited this long for some pancakes and oatmeal.
Another party came way after we did and they were almost done with their food by the time we got ours. When we finally got our fruit plate after one hour, some of it was inedible/sour/cut badly.
We love the hotel but the breakfast place needs to be improved. I recommend eating at the marketplace.
Great meal with fantastic service from Alejandro. His recommendations were great! We especially liked the braised pork cheeks in the pork trio and the cauliflower!
We were here two years ago and dinner was wonderful. This time not so much. Got The market fish which was sea bass. Pretty arrangement but totally overcooked And so was the paella. Nothing worse than overcooked fish. The sauce was good but that was it. We had asked for bread and got four slices but no butter. We asked for butter and got one small piece. Six entrees to choose from. Overpriced and overcooked.
The best paella I've ever had.
I only write reviews for awesome experiences. Ponto Logo really was truly an amazing dining experience. It felt like they put in effort and dedication to really cater to us. They really took care of us for my mom’s birthday. I can’t remember our servers name, but he was awesome!
Menu wise, I loved that they had a variety of seafood options. The grilled whole fish was my favorite dish. Everything was seasoned very well not too saucy and tasted fresh.
You should also check out the dessert options. The churros were to die for. Who knew gourmet churros could taste so good!
I also liked their plate and dineware collection. I wanted to buy all of the plates they were really cute.
I would like to thank the chef for this experience. The food made me feel like Anton Ego when he ate his childhood meal.

Perched on the third floor of the Park Hyatt, Pinto Lago offers a serene and luxurious dining experience. With its relaxing ambiance, the dining area overlooks the hotel’s lush garden and provides a distant view of the Pacific Ocean, adding a touch of elegance to every meal.
I had the pleasure of trying their breakfast. The Acai Bless was a refreshing and healthy start to the day, blending acai with banana, flax seed, coconut yogurt, and apple juice. The Kurobuta Pork Chili Verde Benedict featured a perfectly toasted muffin topped with pork carnitas, poblano peppers, tomatillo, and a unique morita ash hollandaise sauce. While the flavors were delightful, the portion size was a bit on the smaller side.
The friendly staff enhanced the experience, offering me a complimentary dessert sample after my meal, which was a thoughtful touch. As expected in a high-end resort, the prices are steep, but the overall experience is all right.

The breakfast was a la carte as they only offer the buffet on the weekends during the off-season. Breakfast menu options where overall tasty especially the concha French toast, great globalist value for sure. The dinner here was good/fine, the green salsa/guac was interesting but tasty along with the blue corn tostada chips. The tuna ceviche was deconstructed and presented well but looked better than it tasted (it was fine) , the lobster taco was a great portion size and tasted good but could have been more flavorful, again the blue corn tortillas was a nice choice. The tequila/mezcal selection is pretty decent including traditional non-commercial process tequilas which is great to see! The churro was way too crunchy on the outside, it just kept breaking apart into pieces when I bit into it, very strange, trying too hard with this one. Expensive but it's a Park Hyatt after all. Breakfast 5/5, Dinner 4/5.

The food was tasty and well flavored . The service was great! The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Tyler and hos assistant did a great job and the chefs were very talented. I liked the open kitchen. The ribeye was delicious and the dessert was great too!
We enjoyed the dinner. Patio is lovely. The ceviche was delicious as was the branzino. The sea bass was not as moist as last time. I would prefer it undercooked. We will go back. Alejandro is a great server. He's very knowledgeable and friendly.
The atmosphere was excellent, beautiful views and the decor was beautiful. We could actually talk to each other and be heard which was nice, usually restaurants are so noisy you cannot hear each other. We had excellent service from the time we arrived until we paid the bill. We ordered the ceviche trio and it was excellent, reminded us of being in Cabo. The paella and scallops were also excellent. It was an enjoyable evening.
Six of us attended a birthday celebration for my wife. The main courses of paella, chicken and rib eye were all perfectly prepared. The service provided by Alejandro was excellent! Good value for our 3 hour celebration, will definitely be returning.
