The tortillas are all handmade and are so good!! My favorite tacos are all the ones with pork, their pork is nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly. It's juicy and flavorful! The Baja Fish taco is good and only $1.99/each. The BEST thing on the menu though is the Carnitas Fries, it's a large portion so it's great to share. The drinks are okay, nothing special there. Go for the food for sure. The service is fine and the ambiance is casual. Free street also lot parking available.

Stumbled upon this gem recently and have been back multiple times since! My husband loved the ahi poke nachos, I enjoyed the pastor tacos and my children ate every bite of their brc burritos and fries. The portions are great, the service is fast, and best of all the food is fresh!!! We even decided to have a dinner party here because the menu is so versatile for a big group and the drinks are awesome. My favorites are the spicy margarita and kombucha on tap. This place is perfect for all occasions and has become our go-to spot. Shout out to Robert behind the front desk. He is super personable and is such a friendly face every time we go in.

Baja Fish Tacos are were bomb- texture and taste were awesome. Steak tacos were alright. Had some tough cuts of meat that were hard to chew, but sometimes it’s hard to QC that type of stuff.Overall a good experience here.

In town for the weekend came here on a Friday and it's was packed. The wait staff were on amazing even with the overwhelming crowd. We devoured everything burrito, tacos, fries, chicken bowl, salsa, chips I appreciate the blankets they provide (nice touch) and again the service was 5 stars

Great food! It was a little rainy and the patio stayed nice and dry and warm. They have some great screens that can come up if it's sunny and strong patio heaters for when it's a little chilly. There are plenty of gluten free options. All the tacos are so unique and two of us split a Full Flight of 9 tacos. The Korean one and the Grilled Fish were amazing! All had very fresh ingredients and the sauces were delicious. They have a bar area as well. Highly recommend and will definitely be back when it's sunny too. ?Dietary restrictions: Great vegetarian and gluten free options. All the tacos can be ordered with corn tortillas but some of the proteins are marinated with soy sauce but they are clearly indicated.Parking: About 20 paid spots behind the restaurant.

Wow ...I just had my early dinner at this cute restaurant out of state st in Carlasbad I ordered chicken burritos and some homemade chips and salsa The food was so delicious and their chips and salsa was absolutely fantastic They have a great bar with a very friendly atmosphere They have all day Tuesday tacos and are planning to have music on Wednesday s night As I was leaving the restaurant I met Robert the restaurant manager He was so kind and welcoming and super generous with packing my leftovers salsa and chips Thanks Robert for being so wonderful I definitely will eat at Pure taco again and i am going to tell my friends and family So happy you are in Carlasbad
