Great chain. Sadly, this location is poorly managed. Went to pick up a to-go order and had to wait 15-mins even though it was done and waiting. There was a kid who looked like he was 15 taking orders who took more than 5 minutes to take a single order. There was an employee on break who could have handed us our order but walked by and sat in the dining room on his phone. Finally 15 minutes later a woman appeared and handed us our now cold order. She was clueless that we were waiting.

The customer service at this location was amazing. There was an older gentleman in a wheelchair, and he took "forever"..... to place his order, had a lot of mix ups, questions, kind changes, and a line built up behind him (including me) waiting for him to make it through his order. They were so patient, kind, and understanding towards him. They were helpful, and answered his questions, making suggestions, and were truly kind. I am really proud of the cashier foe taking the time to show individual attention towards him. When he finally went to be seated, she even apologized to me for the delay, and I told her absolutely no problem.I love Rubios and their beer battered fish tacos. The only issue I had with the food quality is the portion size of the fish in the tacos seems to have shrunk, or, I just got small pieces on this day for some reason. Foe my gourmet shrimp taco, which is a bit on the high side price wise, I only had 4 small shrimp in my taco, which is very stingy in my opinion. I used to get pretty packed tacos in the past. Hoping it was a fluke and not the new norm, as I definitely don't plan on stopping by for a visit

I used to absolutely love Rubio's, but have been disappointed lately. The cost of the food has gone up while the size and quality has gone down. For some reason they charge more for a kid taco (no sides) than a regular taco. The burritos were shriveled and not labeled to differentiate the different flavors. The limes in the salsa bar were dedicated, barely having any juice. All in all a very disappointing experience.

5/5, 100/100. Not a thing out of place. Perfect service, they asked me if I needed help right when I walked in. Accommodated to my modification needs perfectly. They didn’t let my food get stolen(like other places with easy pickup stations) which means they have adequate staffing. Restrooms are kept perfectly clean and well stocked, with even a coat rack and a urinal to prevent mess. Tidy eating areas. Chefs that pay attention and make the order properly.I am not keto but I love that they offer the switch to keto tortillas for free, as they are tastier and prevent me from having constipation from wheat and corn starch.Dietary restrictions: Keto cheese tortillas, very tasty and low carb

Great place to have fish tacos. They are cooked fresh and it’s definitely not Baja style but they are not bad if you don’t want to head to Baja. These guys here were hard workers. Wiping down the counters and making sure customers were happy. I have to say the service was stellar.

Sadly, this is by far the worst Rubio's location in the area. It's probably the management because the food is fine, but the service is terrible. Every time I come here, I'm ignored and forced to wait forever. Tonight, I put in an online order and gave them extra time to make it (because they always take forever). When I came in, no one acknowledged me. I waited politely for someone to turn around from what they were doing so that I could get their attention... completely avoided all eye contact and any time they'd give someone else their food, they'd immediately turn around and keep working. I had to say "excuse me" loudly to get their attention just so that I could ask for my food that I could clearly see sitting behind the counter. I can't wait until the one on Oceanside Blvd opens back up.
